I am not gonna dislike the video but I’d like to share with you that I wouldn’t do that to an 80. Those 80’s are inherently beautiful on their own😄. No chopping the frame required 😝😅☺️

put a cummins 6bt in it and get around 18mpg, that 1fz gas motor has horrible mileage
Yeah. That's basically the only reason I'm "considering" it and not decided on it. I would go Dodge for the cummins, but than you get an eaven worse turning circle.

Completely agree if ya gonna run twin snorkels run twin inter coolers and turbos while ya at it and 35-40 psi boost is nothin
@ 1:24 they explain that he is hoping to soon upgrading to dual turbos. so like most rigs, it is a work in progress...

It's a 80 series wagon cut down into a ute (pick up ). But I think you only got them with petrol engines no Deisel.

Good choice doing this in the Perth hills
you don`t need to run massive psi if you go up to a bigger turbo. More air displacement with less psi. You would get a bit more lag though.

I thought the maximum 'legal' lift is 50mm plus a tyre size increase of the same? It's not something you can have mod plated either, the max is the max, that's it.
