Chances are, a "fro" is already curly. Kinky hair, in particular, is the curliest hair you can have. Hair doesn't have to be loosely curled for it to be considered curly.

Its crazy to me how easy it is to do my hair now a days vs a few years ago when most of us were getting into going natural and trying to figure out what to do, what our hair can and can't do like its a whole journey going natural for both men and women. What really fascinates me about our hair type is the "illusion" of it being extremely short and not growing then you blow it out and realize how long it is.. 😎

I'm so glad to have bumped onto your channel coz I love it! I love your positivity as I'm not one for negativity and your energy too...you are going places. I'll try this technique without the clay coz my 8yr old son has eczema and his sculp is dry. His hair is down to his waist when straightened and it naturally curls up like your final look once wet, so i'll try the Eco styler on him to maintain them and give them a bit of hold for longer after using the diffuser. Thanks for sharing, i've learnt a lot. God bless.

I'm definitely a fan of bentonite clay and acv treatments. It helped bring out my natural curl pattern..... that I had no idea existed. I follow it up with aloe vera.

Patience is definitely key. When I do my hair if I'm not in for a challenge and long day into night I don't even start. When I started going natural I was so confused. I'd just wet my hair,clump some coconut oil on it, shampoo that out and it was beautiful; but when it dried it would shrink up like a flower at sundown and I'm like what the heck do I do with this? But the point is I have learned so many dos and don't when It comes to my hair thanks to these videos.

Hi Koby your hair looks amazing it looks like a jery curl from back in day where they used different things such as curling rods of different sizes also colors ,papers as well as curling cream , booster, and neutralizer a lot of chemicals but you I believe have shown many that you don't have to use the harsh chemicals I 'm very happy for you that you going after your dreams and being an encouragement to many . Nope, Jeri had nothing to do with his curly hair. He just showed how he soaked his afro dripping wet with water, then mix together and apply his detox hair mask. Letting it dry out then he rinsed it out added the gel and defined his curls individually. Those are Koby curls not Jeri's Jeri had nothing to do with these.

So I got lost in the "Ted Talk" and forgot about the hair mask. That's a good thing because the talk was needed and then you brought it back home to the hair. You stated what you was good at and what you didn't do well. I like that because sometimes we just ain't good at something but there will be things we just rock in.
