As a native Angelino, lemme tell you: LA isn't as great and magical as it seems. For one, it's insanely expensive. INSANELY. Then there's the fakeness. Oooof. And let's not even start on the traffic. ahhh i see, so the shea moisture really don’t work for my hair. it’s super thick and i just realized that. do you have any products that aren’t super thick and won’t shrink my hair but make my curls pop? i also need something that won’t make my hair dry and i don’t have to use more than 3x a week.
I know there are products out there that help against shrinkage. Since I haven’t really been in search for them I am not too familiar with what’s out there right now but I will start looking!

Do you still wash and condition throughout the week?
once a week! Normally on sunday. That's the only time i wash my hair unless my hair is in real bad need for a wash! (like if i've been working out a lot and getting really sweaty or if I tried a style that didn't work out or didn't last long )

when i use gel for my curls it makes white flakes in my hair
It happened to my hair before but I changed it to no flakes I also use a mouse. It works for me.
