Well, James, you have done it again! I truly think that your work has surpassed that of the original gown. The incredible attention to detail and finishing is what elevates all your work into an art form as opposed to just dress making! Your gown looked as if it were pulled from the Christian Dior archives.
I was curious as to which design houses you admire most, for either past or current designs.
    Again, bravo!!!

My favourite fashion house is Dior but not under the present designer and also Givenchy and Balenciaga

The dress turned out sooo beautiful.😍 Can you please make Marilyns orange dress from gentleman prefer blondes (with all the measurements etc.)😍 I want to make it on my own but I have no idea how to do it and I also didn’t find a video about it so you will be the first. wow absolutely amazing, well done, I cant wait to see if you do any more Monroe or Travilla projects how long did the beading take to do and was the pleating and draping of the bodice difficult to do? Hope you do the white dress also from how to marry a millionaire she wears that's also a favourite would love to figure out the braiding and how its done on the dress

I worked on the beading on and off, also had to do part of it then construct part of the dress then do more sequins.

Hello! I stumbled upon your video while researching this dress. I am a fan of Marilyn and I love what Travilla has design for her. For me, the image of Marilyn and the creations of William Travilla go hand in hand.
Well done, very nice work. Did you make it according to Marilyn's measurements? (and has anyone worn your dress? :))

Thank you so much. Yes the dress was made to Marilyn's measurements, I try to do that with any dress I am recreating. It has not been worn as yet.

@@jameskellylondon2428 Good to know-we downsized and I decided to purchase a round table, but it makes drafting quite hard so I think I will need to get a larger table once more.
