this video should be the top result. The current one has misleading info causing users to brake their keys. Thanks for putting this up. 1 year after and still doing the lord's work. (I also wish they brought back the downvote for situations like that)
Nonetheless it is VERY risky and I strongly discourage it. Just fixed 1 key cap, which I had to buy from second hand for like 1/10 of the price of the keyboard.
@@1lubo1 Exactly this week I had to pop up a key because something was stuck in it. I managed to break a small peace :( Luckily I managed to swap it with a button which I barely use. But the broken one still feels like nothing broke.
did you ever try to replace a broken hinge? Like the one you have under the buttons. You are not taking it out in the video. The reason I am asking is that 2 of my buttons broke down, and I ordered replacement hinges, but can't figure out how to insert them without damaging the hinge...
Don't do this for the mac version!!!! The keys have an extremely fragile frame, which will break when you take them out. You will not be able to put the button back. I just broke my keyboard :'( Shame on logitec for this design!!!
I was able to remove all the keys on my Mac version with only the enter key on the num pad breaking because I didn’t take my time with this one. Not sure how you had such an experience though.
I recently bought the MX Keys S. I like it, but I hate that the key lights show below the edges of the square keys, and not just on the symbols. I wish the white plastic under the keys was black. Not sure how I could fix this.
risky to remove the keycaps. they're very easy to break. i've broken one or two just by using the keyboard, im sure many others are already pretty fragile and would snap if i tried to take them off
I did the same, i broke 2 of my keycap. And to replace these 2 keycap it cost 1/5 of used mx keys. So i got myself a nuphy where everything is easily replaceable and replacement is not as expansive. Took me months to decide on this low profile keyboard, i have small hand.
Is this keyboard considered to be a membrane keyboard? My "A" key is..loose? Slightly wobbly but still functions properly(for the most part). My keyboard hasn't been cleaned since I've had it, for about 5 years, so I'm sure it's just gunk and the occasional sugar speck from sour patch kids lol But I'm trying to figure out what kind of keyboard this is so I can watch some videos on how to maybe fix it. It looks different from both a mechanical keyboard AND membrane(at least the videos I've seen). So I'm confuzzled lol
This is a very useful video for key mechanism sellers :) This and many other keyboards on the market will break when you first try to disassemble them. Therefore, you are a big liar.
your 2 minute video was all I needed to fix my key. Thanks a bunch!
phew that was easier than I expected. Key out, didn't see any dirt but gave it a quick blow and put the key back and now it's working fine. Thanks
30 seconds and my stucked keys are fixed ! Thanks man.
My space key was sticking, driving me crazy. I didn't know I could pry off the keys like this, thanks so much!!!

we seriously need the thumbs down count back
I was afraid that cleaning this keyboard will be risky. You just saved me! Big thanks!

Excellent bro, the MX master keys have been a great addition to my tool kit so I have to keep them sharp. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the content! Helped a bunch with my annoying shift key
Thank you so much, this is exactly the tutorial I needed to fix my keys!
Quick easy fix!! Thank you!
I didn't even have to take the key all the way off! Thanks!
Just had to say I love your thumbnail. Made me laugh.
works! thanks a lot for the help! 😊
perfect. worked for me. thanks
This was perfect. Thanks!
thanks! was able to fix a couple of sticky keys on my second hand keyboard! looked like someone had spilt coffee on the numberpad!
My frame that hold the key broke, what i do
Mine too... ☹

how to do that with left STRG?
the key does not snap back into the place.

Same happened with me. Broke mine too. Non mac one.
Thank you !
mine wont stay in place anymore. Where can I find a replacement key?
Thanx man. 😊

I'd say that's a bad design and I would doubt that you can fix it. I can see what you're talking about but it does not bother me
what brush did you use? Is there a cheap one that works?
How to do this with space bar?
did you figure it out
Thanks
Dont work on beer :)

Does the problem still come back often?
Usually it has to do with me eating things over the keyboard.
the space bar the biggest key??? design different
Please delete the video, it broke my keyboard and it’s mot repairable now
Are you blind? Seeing the (tiny!) size of these plastic elements in the video, should make you NOT want to do this, not vice versa!
