Just put together a 32’x48’ rink in my yard for myself and the kids. As it fills, the kids are beyond ready to go skating in the back yard. This being my first year building one. I definitely plan to change a few things for next season.

did you ever try to replace a broken hinge? Like the one you have under the buttons. You are not taking it out in the video. The reason I am asking is that 2 of my buttons broke down, and I ordered replacement hinges, but can't figure out how to insert them without damaging the hinge...

Very nice! I like the more rounded corner idea, Last year was terrible! Maybe 2 weeks of skating on the outdoor rink. This year is better already! I do 2x10's at 10 feet a piece, I might have to cut a few to make corners like you have next year.

Where on earth did you find 4x8 sheets of plywood that cheap. a year and a half ago I bought 1 sheet of 5/8 PT Plywood and it was $110. I know you didn’t use PT nor was it 5/8 but still plywood is not cheap

risky to remove the keycaps. they're very easy to break. i've broken one or two just by using the keyboard, im sure many others are already pretty fragile and would snap if i tried to take them off

About how far down should the center bungee attachment sit below the rim to make sure there is enough movement and air flow before the plastic sheeting is cut to fit? Thanks.

Is this keyboard considered to be a membrane keyboard? My "A" key is..loose? Slightly wobbly but still functions properly(for the most part). My keyboard hasn't been cleaned since I've had it, for about 5 years, so I'm sure it's just gunk and the occasional sugar speck from sour patch kids lol But I'm trying to figure out what kind of keyboard this is so I can watch some videos on how to maybe fix it. It looks different from both a mechanical keyboard AND membrane(at least the videos I've seen). So I'm confuzzled lol

You can unscrew the fitting where the line was connected. Inside this you will find a clogged up back-flow preventer. "In this particular pump".

Don’t use an impact driver. The screw can snap before it’s in all the way. Don’t pulse the drill. Same problem. Just drive it in at full speed.

My boards run parallel to the floor joists leaving most over just the subflooring which are 1x's and they are too soft to hold those scews in tight enough. Don't do this for the mac version!!!! The keys have an extremely fragile frame, which will break when you take them out. You will not be able to put the button back. I just broke my keyboard :'( Shame on logitec for this design!!!

How to do this with space bar?

I did the same, i broke 2 of my keycap. And to replace these 2 keycap it cost 1/5 of used mx keys. So i got myself a nuphy where everything is easily replaceable and replacement is not as expansive. Took me months to decide on this low profile keyboard, i have small hand.

I recently bought the MX Keys S. I like it, but I hate that the key lights show below the edges of the square keys, and not just on the symbols. I wish the white plastic under the keys was black. Not sure how I could fix this.
