- A troubled Detroit Police sergeant who has been the subject of at least 85 civilian complaints since 2009 has been sued at least 8 times throughout his career, a 7 Action News investigation reveals. The settlements alone have cost Detroit taxpayers $830,000.
Mandatory national databases should be created for all cops and prison guards.

Any law suit that is not frivolous brought up against an officer that officer should be fired immediately. They argue that it cost so much money to train cops and they want to retain and retrain them. However it is more than likely cheaper to send them to the academy than it is to pay out millions in law suits.

I went down the rabbit hole of UA-cam land! I ran into countless videos of tyrant police officers police officers that swore to uphold our constitution. It seems the norm is officers don't know what the first amendment is. If it wasn't for news agencies reporting this you would never hear about it or to the countless UA-camrs showing how blatant and thuggish these police forces are. I love this country I love what it stands for. Something needs to be done to be sued 8 times and cost almost a million dollars to taxpayers is unacceptable. What see as part of the problem is that multiple people settled without the city and police admitting any wrong doing. For change to occur there has to admission that something is wrong. I also theses people point of view as well since getting them to admit anything would take years.

Here's a few ideas number one before you hire any police officer spend a few dollars and do a psychological test your savior City a lot of money in the long run number two when they when they lose a lawsuit do the violence or violation of Rights psychological testament again spend that money to save money and when these cops get sued and they lose the money should come out the police department funds let the police to find themselves then maybe we'll see some real change with the nonsense that they do in the repeat offenders in the police departments
