A small video about the beachwear designed in 1957 and 1958 by Hybert de Givenchy for the Jantzen company. The swimsuits which were illustrated by the famous french illustrator René Gruau, they were made of crepe stretch (acetate, naylon and lastex) and came in many colors, both soft and descreet like light pink, but also in sophisticated black. Everything was part of a small collection that we now call "capsule wardrobe". The collection included bikinis or one-piece swimsuits, but also shorts, Capri pants, short t-shirts, short dresses over shorts, etc. I hope you enjoy this video!
