I carry my budget book to work on paydays otherwise I leave it home. I give myself pocket money in cash, if I'm using my debit card that means I'm spending my buffer or rollover which I should avoid. If I do that, I record the transactions when I get home.

@@BudgetTreasures My 9 y.o. little girl has already said has watched some of your videos with me. She’s SO inspired to save her money! My husband and I were just discussing how we wished we were taught these budgeting methods when we were younger. However, we are trusting God’s timing for it all! We’re in a season of strengthening our “fiscal” fitness 💪🏼.
My husband has a podcast called The Three Pillars Podcast, where he focuses on the 3 pillars of fitness: mental, physical, and spiritual. They used to call him Tobinator The Motivator when he was in marine corps, if you’re ever looking for a little extra encouragement! ❤️ He’s on YT as well! I believe we’re all meant to encourage one another, and lift each other up! I know watching you on your own journey has definitely helped me 🙏🏼. Hi! i just started following your budget method and i had a question regarding debt payoffs. When you payoff your credit card debts, do you pay the minimum payment and then add any extra towards the debt, is that what you add to extra debt sections? i see that you sometimes dont put anything towards "extra debt".

In the event you go over in groceries . Do you save monies extra in budget as a cushion money in the case you go go over often ? How does that work ?
Great question. If I go over, I pull the money from my savings at this time. Once I am 1 month ahead, I will take it from there in the event that I need to go over.
