Starting from $67990, the Kia EV5 will be coming to New Zealand soon. Today is a quick walkaround for the one I saw in China. This is quite a basic spec compared to the New Zealand versions.

Hyundai Motor Group is hitting their new designs out of the ball park! This size is perhaps perfect for many people vs. other larger (and more expensive designs). The only thing I wish Kia would have done different is to use a conventional knob vs. a roller for the volume/power control.
Yep, the EV5 is definitely a great size for the general market. I can’t wait for the EV3 which will be smaller.
Apparently cars with odd numbers are gonna be crossovers and cars with even numbers are gonna be sedans/hatchbacks/city cars
EV1, EV3, EV5, EV7, EV9 are crossovers
EV2, EV4, EV6, EV8 are not crossovers (ev6 is a large hatchback it’s called a crossover so it sells
Australia probably looking at just under $60k I reckon. If they can get it to mid to low $50's I think these would sell pretty well. The Atto 3 is doing very well here in Oz. Seeing them around the place more often but not as popular as the Model Y or 3

It is available for the Chinese domestic version. I heard Kia NZ is working on it. It is highly likely to have the Mobile App according to the news.

Position of charging port is the worst posible
It is certainly not my favorite either :(
The material of the interior is just not there. Everyone else is perfect but when I got in- I just cannot get excited about owning one. Was excited until I got into one then my choice was easier

@@wintersoldier6477LMFAO!!! What an absolute load of crap. Mazdas have just as many - if not more - recalls than anyone else. They are just better at keeping them quiet than just about anyone else. They send out letters to owners as “Special Service Campaigns” to avoid bad publicity.
