I’ve said it before and I’ll say it once more now.. this woman’s voice is absolutely intoxicating. This is one of the greatest group of musicians I’ve ever seen.
And let's face it even Floyd got in Roy Harper to do the vocals on their original recording of this song. But at 73 it is great to hear so many talented young musicians doing superb covers of great songs from years gone by.
So i I just got this band on my algorithms out of the blue. I first heard the best goddam Schism Tool cover in the world. And now Pink Floyd !?!? Who is this band and why are they not more known? Unbelievable band, sound, musicality…and the vocals are out of this world!! WOW!! I am a new fan!!
They were fairly popular in the music scene in Colorado back when I lived there. Enough so that the bartender at one of the bars I frequented got their album installed in the jukebox (old school jukebox) and they were played quite regularly on rotation. Great band. Definitely not enough recognition, but here they filled Red Rocks so they're making their rounds.
I’m late to the party on them as well sadly. Incredible performance! Not many cover Floyd with grace like this, especially “Have a Cigar”. These cats are special!
This is, quite literally, one of the best cases of "better late than never" you'll ever see. In fact, I'm pretty happy that I found them late. Imagine how frustrating it would be to fall in love with them when they only had one album out, waiting sometimes years for your next taste. I'm glad they had a huge backlog to explore.
I love Tool and hearing her enchanting voice during Schism..Amazing..The engulfing music..Have a Cigar,David Gilmour would be proud..I have to see Elephant Revival..Come to New England
I only got to witness this magic once and for that ill be sorry the rest of my life... We can hope and pray one day they clme back tpgether even for one show
@@jbusteratgmailcom WHAT..??!! I thought they were kaput. So, they do occasional performances? Probably just in Colorado? I'll keep a bag packed and ready.
Tell me it's not so...the band is all done? I am so glad I took a chance on a band I never heard of coming to our little town, and experiencing them in a cozy, intimate venue! I was very lucky!
This show in 2017 was my first Elephant Revival concert and just saw them for a fourth time (3 in CO) a couple weeks back in Beaver Creek. Needless to say, all Colorado trips are scheduled around when they play in their home state.
I was at this show and it was awesome! Saw them twice @ Red Rocks and a dozen or more x's on the East coast - always a GREAT show! Followed Bonnie & Bridget from MyTeaKind - then to ER which was a brilliant collaboration of talent. Breaks my heart ER is no more, but I know individually they'll all continue to make amazing music.
They're back and they've got a handful of shows this year. My ticket was only $40 (so "anything" won't knock you back too far.) If you still want to see them, look their concert schedule up. 😊
that violin for me, woah.... replacing Richard White's synth with violin also basicly takes some pretty incredible pitch bends i wasn't even aware you could do that on a violin, i think her and the banjo they have some sort of pickups, really cool
Bonnie is just an incredible vocalist .... and the group as a whole is perfection! Have heard several of their performances at Red Rocks, and they're absolutely awesome in every one! May they go on as a group well into the future, and not break up due to internal squabling! (Who knows where the Beatles would have gone, had they not broken up to pursue their independent careers? Heck, John Lennon might even still be alive!)
Never heard of these guys until about 10 minutes ago, when the algorithm threw up the short of Schism.
I'm a lifelong fan now.
😂 same how good!
Same
Me too. They are fn geniuses
Same here
Same here😂🎉

Speaking of, check out their cover of White Rabbit while you're at it
Wtf the dude played the solo on a banjo... amazing
Check out their cover of Schism. I never would have believed that somebody could pull off a theremin solo in a Tool song had I not seen it myself.
Banjo solo was awesome!!
I’m actually in tears being a huge Floyd fan. The banjo at the end was just perfect ❤
Never in my wildest dreams someone playing Gilmore with a banjo. You have got to be kidding me?Brilliant , really.

Oh and White Rabbit form Jefferson Airplane is just outside of the normal. Incredible

Holy shit the violin adds so much to the sond, everything comes together so beautifully 😮 the banjo at the end was insane
Best cover of this song in existence!
The way everyone jumped in at the "If we all pull together as a team" is exactly how it should be done. Amazing cover!!
Everything about this is perfect.
Took me a minute to realize I was listening to a banjo solo. Amazing job guys.
This band is totally outstanding! The violinist takes me back to the incredible Flock recordings!!!! And the banjo is genius, absolutely genius!!!!!
These guys are great. 5 years late but loving it all. Banjo solo? Nice.
I’m late to the party on them as well sadly. Incredible performance! Not many cover Floyd with grace like this, especially “Have a Cigar”. These cats are special!

Her voice is absolutely amazing and Red Rock is such a cool venue. Totally on my bucket list as of today.
I never dreamed I'd find a band able to do justice to Pink Floyd!
The Main Squeeze....
Absolutely breathtaking.

If something became classic there i cry cause that means it became eternal and what is eternity?Eternity is God.Cheers for Pink Floyd❤
