TSR is literally "we have FSR/DLSS at home". It's not better than FSR, and certaintly won't dethrone DLSS anytime soon. I'm judging you hardcore for even thinking that. I would love for Nvidia to have actual competition so that they couldn't get away with their terrible prices, but this ain't it.
From what I can find, it is supposed to better than FSR. Plus since it is built into the game engine, I'd imagine that they could make it a lot better in the future. Lastly, FSR usually are stuck presets (quality, balanced, performance, etc.), TSR (at least in some games) can be set to a custom resolution/percent, meaning that if you only need a little bit of a boost, you can lower the quality only a little bit.
@@ovingoonesekera8938Fortnite on my Xbox Series X uses TSR? I have 120Hz OLED native at 4K. I also have both Nvidia and AMD Game modes built in to the TV.
I'm pretty sure it can beat fsr eventually since both r not hardware base but then probably won't beat dlss since that's hardware so it's bit different so because dlss is hardware base basically exclusive it will be much easier to improve it since they only need to focus on there GPU to improve it unlike fsr that is open source
The main reason people buy RTX cards are because of Ray Tracing and Dlss and The RTX name sounds cool and used to be best in 2018-19 so that's why its like a mindset in people they are willing to pay like 250 dollars in india for RTX 3050 and 320 dollars for RTX 3060
There are nuances everywhere, nvidia 2000+ series, Intel games supported by xess can be counted on the fingers of one hand, amd has problems with the video cards themselves, and unreal engine has problems with itself, because most games are not created on it, perhaps something will change in the near future, because unreal engine becomes It's getting better and better
In my opinion if i have to buy expensive gpu it would be 4090 3080 or 3070 and 3050,4060 are worst RTX gpus nvidia should have never made them if they release their 50 series they should probably just have 5080 or 5090 not 5070 or 5060
TSR aint as good as FSR. Look at Tekken 8. FSR 2.0 outperforms it. Tekken 8 doesnt support FSR 3, which greatly outperforms fsr 2, and subsequently tsr.

Upscaling is for squares, native resolution remains superior
Bro upscaling is just free extra frames and slightly better image quality. Dont get how native would be superior.

I’d say XeSS actually has the best chance to beat DLSS since it’s the only other upscaler here that looks good
TSR is a bit fuzzy compared to DLSS so I would not really say it is better

And all have 'TBR: Temporal Blurry Resolution'🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ok but how tf are indie games are gonna work with that if the developer doesn't have a NASA PC
PLEASE, amd (cards, cpus are doing amazing rn) is slowly dying so hopefully this can help
Honestly as long as I get good upscaling that works on most if not all new games without giving Nvidia my money I'm happy.

No, tsr looks worse than fsr at quality mode💀, there’s too much flickering in objects and on the edges.

TSR is nowhere close as DLSS in terms of quality, if anything it is a worse version of FSR 2.0
Would be nice
Sadly tsr likes sucking 30w by itself
