You don’t have too many enemies to worry about in 3s, you pick your flanks based on radar reading and ally location awareness. A good map always has an answer to any flank but how you navigate space based on your radar awareness is the most important thing for flanking

Thankfully I wound up getting two Precision Instrument rolls - one with Keep Away, one with Rapid Hit. Sadly, the extra 4th column perk wasn't usable in either case, but I already have EotS and Tricorn rolls that I've been spamming all season. P.S. I was looking forward to the grind for the post nerf iggy (Rapid hit / PI) I went flawless and the iggy from the lighthouse gave me exactly that. So I was like let me just put the controller down then, I was spared from grinding pain.

I think a fair nerf to precision instrument to it this archetype in particular would be to tune it down that 2H/1B ONLY works if the first shot is a body shot. That way you still have some forgiveness on the opening shot, but you no longer have any flexibility on the second shot of the fight if your first hit is a crit. That would eliminate the option of the ‘deliberate’ body shot anywhere in the sequence really.
I didn’t get an adept, but I did get keep away precision instrument with 95 range and I’m hype for that, idk if it’s the god roll but I like it, feels like a scout lmao

Wanted panduh’s rol with fluted/richo/rapid hit/pi/range MW. I did get it but with hi cal sadly. But I’m good now. I also don’t like keep away as much on iggy but some do. But I do think pi is just flat out bis without a doubt in my mind
TBH in the current sandbox 120s are such a problem and precision instrument just makes igneous so much better than every option. I don’t think it should be able to 2 head 1 body without golden tricorn or some other damage buff.

If they nerf precision instrument then for me is no point to use igneous hammer no more because I use other rolls and I end up losing fights because all the time they have little bit of health and end up dying most of the time like precision instrument is amazing against overshield players
I think the one thing I’m pissed about this gun is, Trying to get the god roll was hard, Fluted Ricochet KA + EOS. But i got it finally, then bungie did a uno reverse, that It can no longer 3 tap, and if you want to, you gotta shift to KA + Precision Instrument. They really know how to make us suffer.

Im havin a blast this weekend. Had one of my fastest solo flawless to date. Got a good keep away eye roll but already have a really good 5/5 with keepaway and both moving target and precision instrument. (Im on ps5 so keep away and moving targ is just the pinnacle of aim assist try it out if u havent my goodness) This map is so good for trials imo just dont get lost in mid or orbits I guess its called cuz my brain just gets scrambled from all the radar pings best to stay on the outer parts for a pick then slowly move in. I got some nasty clips for my self on my strand hunter with the slam and grapple good times Im so sad to see iggy leave it almost feels like it should be in trials forever but I digress.
sucks man.. played trials all yesterday just to get 6 of the exact same rolls encore and tricorn.. i got one with encore moving target n a range masty so im sittin at 90 range but man.. sucks that i couldnt get a better one
I dont understand why people are so crazy about rapid hit on 120s, it gives so little benefit for most gunfights. Only after the 3rd hit is it actually better in terms of reload, and the stability will be noticeable. In comparison, keep away always gives you +30 reload and you can allow your gun to not have a great barrel or mw because you get 10 range for free.
it synergizes extremely well with PI, which requires you get a 3rd crit for 3c or 2c1b to 3 tap. rapid hit with 2 stacks (with keep awya or rapid hit, if oyu haven't landed your 2 crits ahead of 3rd, you most likely died in a duel), you get much better stats than keep away's boosts. rapid hit before 3rd shot (should be crit) will give you 12 stab and 30 reload with 0.96 reload duration. keep away would give you 10 range, 30 reload, and 5% accuracy cone growth decrease. 10 range is nice but igneous already has very good range at base. rapid hit gives better reload boost with the reload multiplier. rapid hit's 12 stab is much better than keep away's bone growth decrease, tests have been done and it's just not noticeable (go check out fallout, aztecross, coolguy, and cammy). with PI, rapid hit just synergizes better since it's really stab+better reload vs 10 range.
i got my trials card flawless this week with a full 100 range belisarius with a zen moment just straight up team shotting from the otherside of the map

I just feel like there's so many places to get picked off during any flanks in so many areas. It was confusing for sure for awhile.
U gotta be quick with the flanks 3 tap with hc and get back to your team

They already can, resil thresholds are just the reason they don’t always. But this was a thing back in the old 120 meta in season of the chosen

I mean, with iggy you have to try to hit body shots. headshots for me usually land if its near the head upper chest.
Honestly I think a spawn point change for trials would be an interesting shake up to help people feel more comfortable playing with the map.

I was the warlock, My thought process on running ti their spawn was to cut to statue to watch point but i saw one alone and capitalized from there.

50 would suffice and then send it in range, seems that range on Iggy has insane bullet bending for you even on controller
