    ✤ Tips for not failing!
    1. Makes the meringue not hard and soft to 80%
    2. Pour the dough into the cake mold and slowly draw a circle out from the center with a skewer.
    Then, hit the table to remove air bubbles. (It's a tip that doesn't crack the cake)
    3. Still, the cake can crack. But it's okay. As it cools, it sinks.
    4. Temperature is the most important. Each oven has different specifications, so the baking temperature is also different.
    Bake usually between 60 and 90 minutes. How to check if it's done
    If the cake has doubled, it is done.
    5. No baking powder is required.(because there's someone in doubt~)
    Cakes made with meringues are a little difficult to make beautiful.

    ✤ 실패하지 않기 위한 팁!
    1. 머랭은 단단하지 않게, 80%로 부드럽게 만든다
    2.케이크틀에 반죽을 붓고, 꼬치로 가운데 부터 천천히 밖으로 원을 그린다.
    그리고 테이블에 내리쳐서 기포를 빼준다. (케이크가 갈라지지 않는 팁이예요)
    3. 그래도 케이크가 갈라질 수 있어요. 하지만 괜찮아요. 식으면서 가라앉아요.
    4.온도가 제일 중요합니다. 오븐마다 사양이 다르므로 굽는 온도도 달라요.
    보통 60분~90분 사이로 굽습니다. 다 익었는지 체크하는 방법은
    케이크가 1.5~2배로 부풀었다면 다 익은것입니다.
    5.베이킹파우더는 필요하지 않습니다.(의심하시는 분이 계셔서요~^^;)
    머랭으로 만드는 케이크가 원래 예쁘게 만들기 조금 어렵습니다.

    just made this, turned out so well!!
    just a few tips for new bakers trying this (or just tips for everyone in general) :
    1. mix well the yogurt, flour and cornstarch together first, then only add the egg yolks. this prevents over-mixing of egg yolks which will cause air bubbles to form, hence cracking the cake.
    2. beat the egg whites until foamy, then only add the lemon juice.
    3. when mixing the egg white mixture w the yogurt mixture, make sure not to over mix also.
    4. during baking, NEVER open the oven door. this will cause a temperature drop, making ur cake to sink and be flat.
    5. Make sure to leave the cake in the oven (with the door crack open a bit) to cool for 10-15mins. Same like no.4, this ensures there isnt a big temperature drop.
    6. Let it cool to room temp before chilling it in the fridge.

      Hi Nat, I have a dumb question here. For the egg yolk mixture, the one lemon used is only for the zest right? No lemon juice is added in the egg yolk mixture, am i right?

    I made this recipe today! I carefully followed all the instructions but the top cracked while it was rising in the oven. I let it cool for a while and sliced it. The texture was really fluffy and moist but it honestly tasted like a fluffy sweet omelette. But then I refrigerated it. I took another slice after letting it cool for a few hours and it tasted so much better.
    If I make it again I’ll make sure to use full fat yoghurt and will add vanilla extract

    I'm simple Turkish guy. You said Yoğurt and i'm here. I'm gonna try this cake recipe... Thank you!
    1st attempt: Kinda fail...
    1) 30-30 min. not enough maybe you should try 45 - 45 min if you have classic cake mold.
    2) I used homemade yogurt , it made its taste little bit sour , i like it. its taste looks like cheesecake taste but little bit cakei.
    3) I didn't use baking powder but maybe i should have used :/
    4) Also i used orange juice instead of lemon juice because of taste home made yogurt already really sour.
    ...Maybe i should go for 2nd attempt :/

    This was a great success! A wonderfully healthy cake considering that is has little sugar, no butter and still tastes so rich. And very easy to make even for an absolute beginner like me. Thank you! It didn’t rise as muchas the one in the video but still the texture and taste is perfect. Very smooth. Will try a higher temperature for a short time to begin with, to see if I get even more rise that way in my small oven. But I’ll rather have a less tall cake than a dry one.

    넘 맛있어서 보여서 만들고 있는 중이예요.. 추가 110도 30분 했는데, 색이 진해지지 않아서 상세 설명을 이제 봤어요.. 140도에서 추가 20분 정도 더 해보려구요.. 구워지기만 하면 되죠 뭐.. 기대기대!!!

    it saves amateur bakers, like myself, from having to convert everything first, before starting the cooking/baking process.

    Thanks for sharing, today I tried to make the is cake baking for an hour plus, I think the cake still not cooked, bcoz I put the skewer to test, it came out not clean.
    My yogurt is sugarless Greek yogurt.
    What yogurt brand you used ?

      @@hl7508 tbh I don't ever trust baking channels other than @home cooking adventure and @mommy oven also has good recipes. Now back to the point, I think it was the meringue where it all went wrong, I think the baker couldn't convey the point because English isn't their first language. They did say the meringue shouldn't be hard which I think means stiff peaks. I ended up making this mistake, I reached stiff peaks though the recipe called for softer peaks but not too much, just before reaching stiff peaks. I also think that instead of using lemon juice, cream of tartar ends up in a much more stable meringue(though I'm not sure for this recipe). The last point would be the folding of the mixture, it ended up deflated the meringue, I saw in another recipe that when folding the meringue, you should be gentle and but also fast. I hope this helps, I'm trying another recipe today just a different variation. I'll tell you if it works.

      @@violetlantern thank you for sharing, I wonder if is the type of yogurt I used ?, I used non sugar Indian yogurt but texture is like Greek… dunno. So I should beat egg white to soft peak ?

      @@hl7508 I also think that you should stop when you reach soft peaks. If you're using homemade yogurt then don't only just use the curd, it would be a little too think mix in just a little bit of whey, though not too much in ratio of 3:1, yogurt constituting the major part.

    I have try to make it but it failed. It's not raise. Do I have to take a cake out when changing a temperature from 150c to 140c ? Or keep in the oven when I'm changing temperature. I have fail many time now. Please give me advice 🙏

    I have just attempted to make this cake but it cracked quite a bit, could you tell me why please? I did knock it on the bench like you suggested and also used the correct oven temperatures but still cracked a lot. Could it be the position of the rack in the oven? Can you please advise what is the correct rack position in the oven we must use?

      @@dasrussenhaus531 Делал два раза. Сначала поднимается, все вроде здорово. Но потом опадает прямо в духовке еще во время приготовления.
      Думаю не надо понижать температуру до 140°

    Bonjour, votre soufflé Yaourt est très beau, je vais essayer cette semaine la recette. Je voulais vous demander :
    1/ Puis-je utiliser moins de sucre et choisir le sucre de canne ou sucre blanc et du sucre glace dans les blancs ?
    2/ Quel gradin choisissez-vous pour le four (gradin 2 ) ?
    3/ Je vais utiliser mon four Celcius, peut-on choisir le Mode Chaleur tournante ou prenez vous le mode traditionnelle (deux barres)
    3/ Peut-on doubler les ingrédients en utilisant un moule plus haut ?
