I had a whole train of thought for the voiceover going on but it's kind of just went out the window of what exactly was all done. I have written it in the description for what was ceramic coated. The reason being for why the detail took that many hours is due to the fact that the boat was in for service twice and needed a lot of work. We always thoroughly clean all the cabinets and remove items and clean and reorganize as long as the client gives us the OK. Prepping for ceramic coating is extremely important as if you do not have a properly cleaned base, the product will never last X amount of years. With the pricing of our ceramic coating, we always warranty our products as we take extreme pride in our work & product. They are not only just paying for the service being done but the peace of knowing that it was done properly, we always take care of our clients when they are back in the area. Our pricing is almost half the cost when they are back in for maintenance for cleaning their boats. So initial cost will always be more as there is tons to do. We always inform our clients of how ceramic coating can help out their boats at the end of the day, it's just the sole fact of ease of maintenance while protecting their expensive home on water. I know the voiceover was kind of bad, my microphone is not exactly all that great on my phone and the information was skewed.
I just got a quote the other day from NordHavn on a 68 foot, And that one came in at little over 5.1 million brand new so I think this one should be quite a bit less.
Oooo very interesting...The guy working on the generator said all he works on is Nordhavn and said he wouldn't be surprised if it was atlease 7M. I talked to IGLOO Nordhavn owner as we worked on this and they were baffled. So I'm honestly not sure where he got the price. N63 we worked on was priced around 7-8M but the craftsmanship was on a whole different level.
Good to know! I'm going to guess the gentleman working on it didn't have a good grasp of the price lol. He said Nordhavns are the only thing he works on.
We charge the client directly. In our state it is a MUST. If the yacht broker 1099 us for the job, then no we would not charge sales taxes. But this was a direct to the client.

Yeah, the 68 comes in at 5,150,000 base price and It can go up from there.

@@Thaikuza New N625 price is below 3M. Saw somewhere that following hulls are offered for 2.5M - before taxes indeed.

Not keen on the interior
A contractor should never charge sales tax on top of the labor charge. In fact, I’m not sure the legalities of that.

Rip off price. Europe is much much cheaper.
It's always cheaper somewhere else lol. America is expensive, especially in our area. This is not a cheap hobby.
