you should!! it really made me go through all the emotions, it made me laugh, tear up a bit and also made me realize so much about the world we live in. it is a historical fiction just because of the setting but it's written more like a literary fiction novel. i'm pretty sure if you enjoyed convenience store woman, you will like lessons in chemistry as well! 😊

yes she’s such a great character, i adored her thoughts and how she perceived the world! i totally get the feeling of a safe space and how she made the convenience store her safe space, even if her colleagues were not agreeing. 😌
