i did enjoy it very much! the writing style is very flowy and it deals with such interesting topics like the publishing industry, racism and the moral compass of a human being. the ending could have been a bit better in my opinion but this book def did a lot with me.

love that for you!! 😌 it was super ableist and ignorant towards autism though, so that’s why it was a big no for me personally. 😅 but i would love to know what you loved about it! we’re all entitled to our own taste and opinions 🥰

@@onlywildthoughts honestly I think that the book was just so bone chilling and It made me want to read more of it! Like I couldn’t get enough. That was the first book I’ve ever read in a day😂

@@onlywildthoughtsYeah, it means The Sisters Grene, Grene being The family name. From what i know Anna and Clara are fictional mascots of the chain, but they’re inspired by two of the founder Inger Grene’s sisters!

@@onlywildthoughts I saw people on the internet are divided into team manuscript vs team letter. u know I just like to get a clear understanding about the end when I finish a book. with Verity things are a total blur.

@Katiethatgirl1993 a friend told me that apparently colleen hoover herself said that it’s up for interpretation but in her mind the manuscript was real and the letter was fake 🫠 i would rather be team letter honestly but even then HOW COULD YOU WRITE SOMETHING LIKE THAT ABOUT YOUR OWN CHILDREN IF YOU LOVE THEM IN REAL LIFE??? 😭💀
