Making Ken parry Chun-Li as the last frame we see was the biggest pop-off in an animation that had me hyped the entire way through. Thank you for this work of art.
Remy main here, I found it cool that he was in here, I saw most of the artwork in tumblr and was disappointed at first, and seeing him placed a smile on my face
I'm astonished, the fact that this game gets this kind of tribute 23 years after its release, just goes to show how amazing and special it is. Great job!
It's the little things like correctly getting Remy's finger snap, Poison striking a pose while Huge flexes, and all the background details that just hit the nostalgia tingles for me. Amazing work.
@grunchchristmas honestly I love Remy for his design the most, he looks very unique compared to other characters from the series and could really use an update
This is the freshest, yet most well-aged animation I've seen in recent memory. This could be an adult swim bumper for the game, months before it's release. I can almost feel CRT static oozing from this video. AND the Chun parry at the end? Absolutely top tier.
You don't probably get Alot of people appreciating your Hugo frames but thank you , You really nailed the big man's personality in that little time Signed a Hugo Main
This is incredible work, especially how well you convey everyone's personalities in only a few seconds, the stylized backgrounds, and of course the parry sequence at the end. You've clearly spent a lot of time with this game. I used to be a reviewer, and have played and written about literally hundreds of games. I've always loved fighting games the most, and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike is one of my all-time favorites. After all these years, it's one of the few that I regularly go back to. This video is a good reminder of why. Capcom should hire you for SFVI!
As soon as I heard it was 3rd strike's anniversary today, this animation immediately came to mind. From moment 37 to the mystery behind Q, its safe to say this has to be my favorite game in the Street Fighter series for just how much fun you can get out of this one title alone and how much this game alone has done for the FGC as a whole. Happy 25th to 3rd strike, as we all fight for the future, trapped in the world of Street Fighter 3! Now if you need me, I'll be on Fightcade.
I literally cannot love this more. Makes me miss Dreamcast and 3rd Strike all over. I think it's my favorite fighter ever, or at least strongly competes with DOA2 and SC3 for the position. This had to have taken forever, and I greatly appreciate the time and effort to deliver this masterpiece.
Gotta say. The shot with Sean is colored beautifully. Probably my favorite part of this short aside from Elena being cute as heck, and Ken parrying Chun-Li's kick.

As someone who’s never played 3rd strike (a fact I now hope to change) you managed to perfectly communicate every character’s personality through this animation. Stellar job.
Everything here is just bizarre as I have no other way to describe this but awesome, just awesome! I was lucky enough to also grow up with arcade games that got me into the realm of fighting games as well. The Street fighter series as games and as a franchise of the story itself just gives me goosebumps of how cool, creative and chill back nature makes it very appealing to me. I loved the Chun-li scene, and Ryu it's just awesome to see in the big screen of this video, especially if its based from the intro of SF III 3rd Strike but as FAN-MADE? I'm probably ranting at this point, but thank you for creating this piece of art, nostalgia. That hard work you put into clearly shows the passion right there, great job!

Absolutely insanely good work. The thing that appealed to me the most about Street Fighter III is the incredible amount of style and flair it brought in just about everything; music, animation, aesthetics just completely on point. You basically captured everything that made me interested in this game in the first place and condensed it into less than 50 seconds. Spectacular work all around.
I hope one day we get a street fighter games with this or arc system works art style in the future. This was such an amazing job recreating the intro and the animation is top notch!

Damn, this really hits me in the feels- I remember spending weekends a plenty just trying to learn all I could about the system mechanics in SF3, being the first traditional fighting game I had on a console. I didn't stick much with it since I kinda grew up in a "video games cause violence" family and I only had a demo on PS3 with only arcade and trials modes and like 3 playable characters lmao but it was thanks to that I would later be introduced to other games in the genre, 2 of my favorites being Guilty Gear & BlazBlue! It's truly heartwarming how in an age where practically anyone can learn to code, we get community-projects like Fightcade which can immortalize these legacy titles and not only making it easier to find and connect with people thanks to rollback, but also allowing features like proper training modes and combo challenges to be added and help newcomers get into the scene as well. Definitely got to look into it at some point!
