I never knew about the lights. Makes the job so much easier.
With stow by light, sometimes the lights don't work or it lights up where it shouldn't. This is why they always want us to have the device on our wrists so that we can make sure we're putting the packages in the correct spot.

Do you guys have Stow carts ? Here at our Sortation center here in California USA 🇺🇸 it’s mandatory that we use them at all times when we do stow along with our Ring finger scanner to be the most efficient lol I do 10 hour shifts I switched from the 8 hour shifts cause ya know more money lol

No interview! They just ask some basic questions like if you have the right to work and if you can work 40 hours a week

600 packages stowed per hour is impossible at my warehouse, we do 300 per hour thats because we have plenty of heavy packages like water in bulk, dog food and cat litter boxes that weigh 40-50 pounds..
They recently reduced the rate at our warehouse. We have a lot of smaller parcels though. We now do 300 as well.

@@KHALEDFX21 in the UK they usually pay every Thursday or Friday, they'll you for the week you work, excluding Sunday because it is considered a new week.

How did you train for all the different jobs at Amazon ❓I just started as a Stowing associate 3 weeks ago‼️
wow a very informative and good video. i work as a sortation operative in leeds and have been doing that for 3 weeks now. main differance i see is footwear, you wear some good trainers and at out location Lba8 we are only allowed the amazon safety shoes which are horrible.

Wow, that's great! I've been working for 5 months now, make sure to sleep during the day and rest well, and don't forget to take some food with you, you are going to need it! And water as well

I don't know about the USA but here in the UK and the warehouse I am working at, we have 5 older workers I mean the oldest is 65 years old. But good luck 👍👍
I applied and had an appointment the same day I applied . Now I'm at one of the Amazon facilities in San Francisco and been there since November. The training is good and it's a hard but easy job at the same time, I really enjoy it.

They'll set it up for you when you resume, you'll install an Amazon app where you will see your shift pattern.
I have that job too in glasgow and I find it difficult to get to by public transport....ill be on nights.

600 parcels an hour for 8 hours straight is ridiculous 😮. I’m due to start next week but the more videos I see regarding working with Amazon, the more I’m getting apprehensive 😬. Thank God this is only temporary for me before I start studying again

@@dogminister hey good luck on your interview. I have another job now so I’m focusing on that but the role itself wasn’t too bad. I heard it depends on your warehouse location but the one I worked in had the machines and conveyer belts doing most of the work. They’ll put you in different sections but they’ll be people to explain what you need to do. The only downside is that PMP is employing a lot of people for the Christmas period so you may go without a locker, receive slow communication and be overworked. Enjoy your shift & try to make the most of it

@@swaet8671 I'm telling u I just did 4 night shifts in a row last week it's not easy what's worse I had school on Wednesday and Friday so I'd go to school been sleep deprived the work finishes 6 am and starts 7 pm and my school starts 9 am and finishes 1 pm

Thought they were 10 hour shifts . 4 on 4 off ?? Our local Amazon is hiring for this shift pattern !
During peak period it's 10 hours shift, and for a blue badge, it's 40 hours per week that's 5 days per week.

Jobs like this are so easy to teach people and even tho they say you don't need experience and they will train you they still don't hire you sometimes because of your of lack of experience 🙄it's so annoying. That's why it's so hard to find jobs now days

600 items per hour? Omg sis. That's 10 items per min. That's a lot of work.
At a fulfillment center, we have to count 600 items per hour but the work is simpler than this.

Night shift and there's no fixed work. Every night your supervisor will tell you what you'll be doing

Not it’s not mandatory, they always asked if you’d wish to do it if you said yes they’ll write down your name so you can be paid for it. You can always say no if you don’t want to.

I recently got offered a job at Amazon as a sortation Associate, I’m a little nervous as I start on the 1st any advice you can give me for my first time plz
Wear something comfortable because you'll be standing the whole night and make sure you rest properly before you start work, and take your water though there's water at the warehouse house. And don't feel pressured about the job, it will be very stressful at first but you'll get used to it.

Hello Faith, I bought a mic on Amazon and I requested for a cable but they sent me another mic instead. I went ahead to request for a refund, they did for my first purchase and not the second. Now I got a mail that I should send back the product, it’s so confusing as this is my second time making a purchase on Amazon. Please can you assist? Aramex delivered it but they have been so unreachable.
You can call Amazon customer service or chat them up there's nothing I can do to help you.

Hi can you answer my question. Do I have to park in the Amazon parking lot? I’m working at night and I’m scared the parking lot will be crowded. So can I park on the street?
It's not mandatory to use the Amazon car park, but parking on the street will get you a ticket. At my warehouse, the car park only gets crowded in the morning, just a few associates drive to work at night. Getting a parking space at night is not something to worry about because there are always spaces to park at night.
@@FaithOjone really it will give a ticket? There’s no red zones or anything. I know there are other buildings in the area but idk if that’s for their employees

If you are stowing the day goes by fast, but picking nahhh you'll sleep 😆😆 splitting is the worse, in the UK it's 12£ an hour and some pennies
