Great Video as always! Keep it up :) Could you possibly do a video for tiny/student budgets to just get great looking cloth that is of quality as well? Anyways I hope you'll see this

Sometimes we don't want to stand out , but just to wear something nice. So many times when you wear something more elegant you appear to the eyes of other people like the black ship. Wearing neutrals really helps to reduce that and at the same time pass the statement. I would really love to see videos about this topic , when you want to wear something nice and at the same time not to drag attention in places were there is not quite a culture behind wearing something else than t-shirts and hoodies ( at best sweaters and jeans )
Hmm... Strictly speaking, browns are not true neutrals either, we have that perception because of traditional (though false colour theory) and the earthy association. Browns are basicly low saturation oranges and yellows. I do admire brown and grey colour schemes though - the rather fetching plumage of the Egyptian goose has always inspired me.
Great video as usual although I dont't completely agree with the coffee for everyone approach tha some of these videos project. You will have to agree that not every man can wear browns or greys close to the face without looking washed out and that a monochrome ensemble can look great on men even though Sven does not like it. 👊🎩
I like your videos. Stop hating on Chirstian Bale. He's sharp dressing. In Batman his suits were absolutely elegant and discreet. Truly raising the bar.
I am only 5’7”. I don't want to look shorter than I am. How do you advise shorter men to wear neutral colors? I don't want to draw attention to my short legs :)
Dear Gentleman's Gazette, For my work I have to show up in formal attire. However there's one small issue, it has to be completely in black (except for the tie). Any advice on how not to appear like I am going to a funeral? Many thanks in advance.
K 55 Tricky question! Although I ain't Sven, my humble advice may help you out as well. I've been on the men's style train for years now. So, let me suggest the following: - Use different textures, e.g. an oxford cloth shirt, or a linen/cotton blazer. But at all costs: - Avoid shiny fabrics. One shiny piece may be acceptable, but don't go with more than that. Imagine a satin shirt with a shiny suit, and polished shoes even - that quickly comes off like a school prom look. - On that note, keep it subtle with your shoes. Broguing may appear too informal. I'd recommend a modern classic: The black wholecut shoe. These can be dressed up or down all the way and will fit your outfit, no matter what fabric, tone or accessory you combine them with. Dapper end effortless at the same time.
Literally everyone does a light brown chukka, they look similar to the crocket and Jones Chiltern, but could easily be made by anyone from loake to Edward Green.
IMHO, the combo you're wearing today lacks spezzatura and looks like you're trying too hard matching your shoes and your sweater that have almost the same colour. I'd never thought I'd ever say that tho ;)
PRO TIP: If you say "in today's video" like this "intodaysvideo" people who don't speak English as a first language are going to have difficulty understanding what you are saying. Thanks for all the great videos.

It's a shame that we feel that we cannot venture into certain places or areas simply because of the way that we dress.
Thank you once more for opt out black as leading colour in menswear
Black Is overrated
Well done Sven, again. The combinations in this video are sophisticated, but appear effortless and natural. I am taking notes!

Is there a link to the outfit you are wearing in this video? Especially your turtle neck pullover is interresting to me. ( If it's called this way)
It came from Uniqlo

Very Weak
@G GWho cares.
@@hongpingmike Yet another high school comment.
@G G Again you make zero sense bruh. Just senseless comments.
I think you've taken the "they never go out of style" idea too far, I'm pretty sure the "gangster from the 1930s" style did go out of style by now....
