Thank you. Noted! To be fair though, I mostly do the same in my comps. And this is what I also did in the Fusion ACES tutorial I did 😇 If I have something cool to show in Fusion. Then I will think of that comment and make a video about it!
The master is nothing without his community. The really interesting thing is that a loooot of my videos have been direct results of questions I am getting from you guys. It's a win win 🙌
Thank you very much for your reply. I am sorry, I do not quite understand what you are saying. Could you give me a bit of help understanding what you are trying to do and what is not working in your case? Cheers and looking forward to your reply 🙌️✨️
@@SilverwingVFX oh, thank you for your reply. My question is that the ground does not reflect the color of the label. I hope you can understand my question in this way
@@rosun4537 Ah so you are asking about the Spread Parameter in the Light. I would say it's a limitation from Octane. You can of course get better results with the analytic lights. But they are unfortunately slightly less realistic as the octane standard ones. Usually I use the Spotlight Distribution node in Octane to focus my light. But this has some sampling issues when focussed too much. Long story short, there is no Spread in Octane that works like in Redshift or Arnold 😢
@@rosun4537 Thank you very muh for your reply. Reflections and refractions are unfortunately a limitation that does not work very well with the workflow I am describing 😞
Amazing video! Need to see if Houdini Octane can do the same! I really wish fusion had a good z-depth depth of field tool. The one in Fusion does not have realistic bokeh and is nowhere as good as the After Effects one. The only good option that I know of for that is the boris effect sapphire suite, which is crazy expensive...
Thank you very much for your comment. Fingers crossed the Octane features are at least as well advanced in Houdini as they are in C4D. As for Depth of field. I usually render DOF as well as Motion Blur nowadays because you get very close to what it would have looked like through a camera lens without any artifacts. If you want to do DOF in post. Maybe it's worth to take a look at Frischluft Lenscare. I think there is a version for Fusion Studio out there that is cheaper then sapphire.... though OpenFX plugins always tend to be more expensive then e.g. AfterEffects ones. Cheers and a great rest of the week to you ✨
Thank you very much for your comment and your question! Yes, Octane has render layers. This would work great. The crux is however that you only can render one label at a time! At least that I know of. There are areas inside of Octane even I don't know about 😇
Hope to see more of the fusion comp bit in the future tutorials as well!!! Kudos

Never went so deep in C4d or Fusion, thank you.
You are very welcome 🙌
Love seeing some fusion comping!
Hey hey 🥇
Thank you very much: The part in Fusion is rather small. I hope you enjoy it anyway ✨
Bro, thank you always
And also thank you for watching commenting and liking ❤️

Big W! Great tut, thank you!
Thank you for your comment. Appreciate it 🙌
Thank you for teaching. After learning, I found that there is no change around the environment when the environment color is needed.

🍶I will definitely try this way of working with label overlay. Thanks for another great video!
Thank youuu ✨🍶✨
If you want, share your results / thoughts on the process. I am interested in the outcome if you do it 🙌
This is amazing!!!
Thank you so much Desmond. Great to hear that 🙌

Haha, also, I really like that Onix branding. Where can I order ??😅
Ohhhh, also super glad to hear that ✨🥰✨
Delivery will be in 1s and 0s 😇
Doesn't Octane have a render pass system? Where you can set up another render pass, with another material on the same model? Thanks!
