As for secrets, not sure if you know this one but here's one a lot of people don't know:
The chapter 5 secret beast boss has 3 arenas you can fight him in. Most people just kill him in the first arena, but if you fight him in the second arena, he uses ice and is a lot slower. Third arena is once again fire with magma on the ground, and he's also less aggressive there.
how do yo even activate the 2nd arena ?

lol I’m opposite. I killed him once in the first play through. The rest, I let him finish half of the first phase with this boss.
If you ignore Scorpion Lord and he joins Duskveil you lose the chance to get the reward from killing him and can't make his unique armor, i made that mistake

I was this surprised realizing on NG+3 that those rock bosses fight each other in Chapter 2
i am at ng+6 and he is absolutely the worse boss. Second phase he one shot me all the time. Finally kill him by luck (revived 4 times). I don't think there is a consistent easy way to beat him...
The damage caused by enemies after NG+5 is totally unbalanced, you die with 1 hit sometimes, although you should be much more resistant, since you have already beaten the game several times. Game Science needs to send an update to fix this urgently.
Never understood Duskveil hate till NG++. First play through 1st try like he was nothing, NG+ same thing since you are most broken in this one, but then came the NG++. I partially think it was due to me testing a crit poison build and not going meta dark iron staff high def, but man he was a bitch, took me probs like 5-6 tries till I decided to do spellbinder crit poison...

some BS. He says this is NG+7 but he beat last boss in NG+7 2 weeks ago...

i accidentally got that in my first playthrough cause i didnt bother fighting the scorpion anymore xD i somehow beat that boss first try, really wasnt that bad

Scorpion lord joins the fight if you don’t defeat him before fighting The Duskveil. Only for him to die in a cutscene…
