I love my yamaha 2012 vstar 950. . Last year. We took a trip from Houston tx. To Durango Colorado and back to Houston that Was my first long trip 10 days on the road. Close to 5000 miles. Man I tell you nothing like the open road...vstar so Reliable no issues at all. Love it
I haven't rode mine in years and then had a hip replacement in 2020. I'm gonna change the oil, thanks to this brother, register it and put it on the road. Thank you sir.
My "new to me" 2009 Yamaha V Star 950 Tourer will be delivered some time next week. But the previous owner added the H-D batwing fairing, changed the grips and pegs to aftermarket ones. EDIT: Subscribed! EDIT 2: I do plan to outfit mine with engine guard/crash bars plus some frame to protect the luggage/panniers if and when the bike drops sideways. I just have not decided which brand to go with-Cobra, Lindby, etc.
Right on, if you have any questions you can email me and I'll help all I can. I have the shop manual for these bikes so I can send pictures and other information. hotrodpapaw@twc.com Thanks for watching
You are the only one that I know of that has the roadliner/stratoliner bags on the 950. Looks great man. Did you install them with the original brackets?
I had a Cobra slip on, but I went back to factory pipe. Cobra slip in is your best bet for the 1300, not super loud but sounds really good. Thanks for watching

Most people don't know how great is this bike...Yamaha will last forever if you take care a minimal maintenance.
Yes sir love my Yamaha.........
There are 3 drain plugs for the oil.
Not on the 950 Yamaha, just a single drain.
What kind of pipes do you have on there? I got a 2014 vstar 1300 deluxe tour package. And wanna make it louder and better upgrades.

Ah, something I can actually do lol.
