I'm now slightly optimistic, as Chris Terrio (who wrote the screenplay for Argo) has now been brought in to rewrite the script. Fingers crossed that this can reign in David S. Goyer.

Still a good song. Funny thing is, that "I even killed a man" bit is basically the Batman v. Superman movie summed up. Batman doesn't like Superman for killing someone, Superman doesn't like Batman, ehm, because reasons (because he's a vigilante, but it's not like Superman is being paid to protect the world or anything).

CatMaster90001 How so? Ant-Man is a Marvel movie while Batman v. Superman is DC they should have nothing to do with each others release schedules other than the rivalry between the studios maybe causing them to compete in who can cram as many superhero movies in as few years as possible.
Katherine Sanderson The rivalry actually has everything to do with it. People are more adept at Marvel movies currently, and releasing a DC movie in the same month is very likely to overshadow it.

I was playing Gravity Rush (a video game on the PS Vita with a gravity-altering superheroine in a floating steampunk city) and went to this song because the game reminded me of this. In the first few missions, 10 of the elements here are replicated in Gravity Rush (a couple elements being gender-swapped). It makes sense, given the comic book cutscenes.
Doug's dancing really brings the entire thing together lol

The song is awesome, but MoS is true to its comics.
Superman is the hero who could have everything, but can't experience it. Every few minutes he decides to enjoy life, someone that he could save, dies. May that person be someone random or close to him.
He also has to live a doubble life so he can try to have something, to experience being human, but thats fake.
So yeah, there are a lot of conflict and I dont see issue in showing that, especially if he in the end overcomes it and becomes a beacon of Hope, which he would have become if they made a MoS 2, instead of Batman v Superman.

Ironically enough, I don't mind the similarities between Bruce and Clark that they mentioned in this. Given that, HI, this had Christopher Nolan in this. No offense to Nolan, but the guy wasn't exactly the greatest choice to have associated with Superman.
Batman, he did an OK job with, but...they messed up one LITTLE thing here: Batman DID kill Ra's and Harvey, Doug! Or did you forget that for when Bats called out Clark for killing Zod even though he had no way to contain him if he did stop him nor did he have any other way to reopen the ONLY prison that could keep him contained.
Actually Batman didn't kill either of those, he simply chose not to save Ra's al Ghul and Harvey Dent's death was most certainly not his intention.
friendstastegood Fair enough. I am just saying that the guy isn't exactly one to complain about killing Zod since, again, there wasn't any real prison you could keep him in.

It's funny that the thing that everyone said would suck, Affleck as Batman, was arguably one of the best things about the movie, and one of the few bright spots amongst a dark cloud of vaporized shit.

Batman let Ras Al Ghul die and then saved a kid which caused Two-Face to die. If he was in Superman's situation with Zod he would've done the EXACT same thing. The difference with Joker was that Joker was challenging Batman's opportunities to kill him when no one else was in immediate danger, trying to break Batman's codes. It's still funny though.
