Ever tried to add a piece of metal (or wire) to the upper rim of the niqab - just like on the medical face masks? This way it is much more comfortable to wear, as it does not touch the lower eyelids and you also have a much better view. You simply add a stitching approx. 7 mm below the rim, so a long, thin pocket occurs. In that pocket you can insert a piece of thin wire which you bend according to your faces shape. Before washing you simply pull the wire out.

Hello, thank you for your wonderful channel and everything you share. I have perhaps a weird question, and I hope it isn’t offensive. I have an autoimmune condition that makes me allergic to sun. Even wearing lots of sunscreen I burn and get rashes. But I live in Southern California, and it’s constantly sunny and hot much of the year. Right now it’s over 90F/32C. I already wear long pants, long sleeves, hats, gloves, and wore masks outside during the pandemic simply to protect more of my face. I love the look of the niqab, I like the idea of being more covered and all UPF athletic wear is so tight I feel uncomfortable, but is it disrespectful if I wear a niqab? And there are so many pieces and materials and names of things, how do I even start? And do it respectfully? And do things come with pockets? Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Where I live gets up to 50C (120-125F) so Ive learned to buy cotton as much as possible, wear skirts and tights, I buy boyfriend jeans for when I need pants, and I usually wear sleeveless jilbabs when I wear them (otherwise its thin hijabs and an undercap). I also bought a velvet headband, absolutely amazing (wrapunzel is the only website Ive found with them, plus they have a charity where they donate scarves to women loosing thier hair). Only downside to it is if you dont keep cool well enough you will get sweat marks on your hijab/jilbab. I also found these makeup headbands at Walmart and thier really good in the summer for a tube undercap (and for any of my sisters with short hair, they dont come with a bunch of extra bun room)

Is Finland weather similar to Canada weather? Most of Canada has short hot summers, 2-3 months of 30°+ and long cold winters -30°. More temperate along the coasts. I prefer the cold over the heat. Hijab in summer is hot, niqab must be very very hot! Paler colours are much cooler than black. You look very nice in beige khimar/niqab.
it reaches 50 degree centigrades here in Pakistan.. you burn right after shower. ugh.. summers are starting.. ramzans are the hardest.. since i have to appear in examinations during ramzan wearing niqab.

My dear sister in Islam, there is a great deal of hospitality and leaves the pores of freedom (of course as much) to deal with the circumstances surrounding it .. And since you are in the West, I do not recommend wearing the veil, but only wearing the veil and dress modestly to prevent the stirring of non-Muslims and so that they can be accepted for a little bit ... As salamu alaykum sister, I worry that when I walk my abayas/jilbabs cling to my body too much. The clothes themselves are from websites such as tasnim collections, akhawat, and house of jilbab so I don't think they are what's causing it. Is there any specific thing one should where underneath these clothes to keep them from clinging like a slip or petticoat?

Wa aleykum assalaam dear sister! May Allah give you ease. Just keep praying, hold on to how ever little you are doing. Do istighfar(asking forgiveness from Allah alot), hold onto your duas, even if they are just with your own mothertongue. Make dua that Allah guides you and keeps you strong. The fact that you feel like a hypocrite is a sign that you are not and that there is still hope. Do watch my video "Are you qualified to wear the niqab?" Even if you are not wearing niqab it still aplies. In the video I talk about how there is no certain level of piety that one should have in order to dress modestly and according to shariah. The only criteria that Allah mentions in the Quran for covering is that you should a believing woman. That's it. You believe, you are good enough
Nothing helps about the heat for us living in arab countries 😅 except the air conditioner in that car. I disagree about over head abaya. It blocks the air more, makes u boil, its a whole one piece, its heavy. I worn them and left them due to heat, abaya with square scarf or shorter khimar is way better option.

To me, and many of my friends living here it is difficult to wear, it really IS HOT IN MALHAFA HERE. How do you prevent vitamin d deficiency sister? Treat this as an innocent question. Because there are various medical studies/researches which have shown that Muslimahs if they cover from head to toe can be prone to vitamin deficiency.
Fish has lots of vitamin D, also avocado, Champignons, eggs and some cheeses, just google. And pharmacies sell vitamin D supplement pills. First go to your doctor to check if you really have deficiency though 😄

There’s nothing wrong with wearing niqab if you need it, the fact you watched this video tells me you respect the niqab enough to use it. - a niqabi

im not niqabi, but i use croptops under my clothes, usually lightweight, long sleeves and cover neck most of the time.
Loose clothing with long sleeves in this boiling Earth are essential to all 😅😅

The sun ray type the skin uses to produce vitamin d can penetrate the material for hijab because the material itself is not thick
