Insulwise's Insulated Hatch Solution for a Pull Down Attic Ladder

In this video I show you what the finished version of our insulated hatch for a pull down attic ladder looks like and how it works. These are custom built for every home that we work in. The reason that we do not use a pure foam board "lid" or the zippered thing, is because they are simply not as effective. We have refined this method starting in 2008. It is durable, effective, and if the foam board ever breaks that part of it can easily be built again using readily sourced materials. The finished result of our custom solution is an air sealed hatch that is rated to R-10 and should last for decades in your home.
