My suggestion is to get back to the off grid dream, I have that dream too. I don't know if I will ever see it realized but it's nice to think about. Good hunting and God bless you and yours
Here’s a crazy story for you Brett. I nearly died with in a mile of your place there. It was about our 12th day on that silver fire. My first big fire ever. We were working just north of your place. We would park right there not far from the pens if I remember right. I remember running water and seemed like there were always turkeys there close to the water. Anyways, I was a big sunflower seeds guy and I always chewed them things my whole life and had be chewing them everyday of that fire. For some reason out of nowhere, I went anaphylactic. My crew members had to help drag me down the road back towards your place and luckily a medic was staged at your place and heard the radio traffic and just grabbed epinephrine and came running up the road. One of the scariest days of my life and glad it wasn’t my last. Needless to say I ain’t touched them thing since.
Brett, I know long time ago video I watched in June 2023. It’s great to have a dream place like you have, except for wife work nice job she seems to like it there. Looks like a pretty place off grid. My dream was Arizona being in scouts I had opportunity to move in Northern Az Payson with close to cabin look with Tonto Forest in my backyard, I hiked over 500 miles in 10 Yrs all around area.
lol yeah ... sometimes I think of them like a choke chain on a dogs neck .. I start to get out a little too far and then I'm yanked back in lol .. thanks
I think that’s a great idea! I usually like to go however long I can away from civilization. Usually 1-2 weeks, just 8-10 hounds , 2-3 horses, me, myself & I. Nobody tells me what to do. There’s no cell phones and there’s only one a few rules. Hunt lions, Enjoy nature and pray often!
Trying to semi retire soon .. I will be 60 in November .. kids are grown and have kids of their own .. my grandson that I spent so much time with when he was young is starting his last year of high school and has different interests.. I just want to get out and hunt these hounds as much as I am physically able too as long as I can .. and share the videos .. and also go do more interviews .. soon I hope Thanks Jayson ..

Good morning mr.vaughn sorry I ain't kept up ,just bummed about my dogs an missed up my back again but back in tune any way here in the lehi area (n.msea)the ol house christy & i live in a house that my grt. grandparents built back n 1925 and only have 6 acres left that the 202 free way took ,but still have the home up n young az. ,unit 23 ,at least we and still hunt an fish ,enjoy the outdoors and mountains, if you need lumber an ur sawmill is portable i got some that came from my moms pine trees they won't cost ya a thing if interested just say ,,just glad to be back in tune with you brett,,I guess an hoping by the 1st of 2022 my wife will let me get a few more dogs ,well my friend enjoy a MA our Lord watch over you an ur family 👪

Your dog collars have a range of up to 9 miles good for hounds ! I use Garmin sport pro for Bird dogs 🐶 for field & Home !
