Thanks for the review. I had the 1723S towers and upgraded to the 1723 towers. They sound great in my music only system. 111 lbs each and built like tanks. I like the black satin in my room. Don’t have to dust all the time. Power with my Rotel separates putting out 200 WPC at 8 OHMS so plenty of power, which they need if you want to play loud and they will play loud. I’ve had them about 2 years and I’m very happy. Merry Christmas and happy new year.
I agree. No subwoofer needed when you have such drivers. We often tend to forget that 75 percent of music (vocals, instruments) comes to us throught the mids. I don't need my gear to shake my windows in order to enjoy the music...
Love your channel and review style. I’m debating between these or the Aperion Theatrus and watched your review on those. Would love to hear your thoughts which one you liked better.
These are nice. A little expensive but its kind of a one and done speaker. There are speakers that cost a lot more than these that don't sound as good. One of the only competitors I can think of is the Paradigm Founder 70LCR which are more costly. Are these, you can have them in any color as long as its black?
They come in black or white. I do have to send these back. Also, the Founder LCR is sealed. So these stand apart. Aperion has Cinema speakers that are comparable.

Oh man, its tough because I dont have them side by side. I did love the Theatrus as well. It may come down to a price and aesthetic battle.
How do they compare to MA silver 100 7g
Oh, the Arendals all the way. They’re more expensive mind you. But if you want big sound, yeah.

I know these speakers are 4 times the price then Monolith THX 365t. Other then cosmetics if both are THX CERTIFIED are this worth the upgrade?
I haven’t heard the Monolith, but they look cool!

Stopped watching it when he said 46 Hz - 20 KHz. end of the hype.😁
Why?
in-room response is a lot lower
