I haven’t had my hair braided in years. I’m now 52. I don’t know if I could take my hair being braided where it feels like it’s super tight.
FYI: Please remember to oil the scalp even though your hair may be in a protective style. Some people may not do anything to their hair until they go to have it done again. It will be dry,brittle and have breakage.
Something else that is good to help keep the hair moisturized while it’s in a protective style is use of sta•sof•fro or some type of moisturizing spray on each braid up to where the length of your hair is.
