Join us for today's land vlog episode as we get an up to the minute update from our latest life adventure, which is the process of moving out of Illinois and moving across the river into Missouri. But this is no small accomplishment, as we have been selling our Southern Illinois land, and now we will be listing our Southern Illinois home with 22 acres of land, and then selling the last remaining 10 acre parcel as well. But now that we've actually closed on the new 280 acre Missouri farm we will be kicking things in high gear every day to work towards getting our entire Kapper Outdoors modern homestead moved over to our new 280 acre Missouri farm! This is the real deal here and it is NO EASY TASK to be sure! I went back and watched the driveway build videos, that was an engineering feat! Hard to recoup that money though, everyone expects there to be a driveway!
Wow, there's a blast from the past! We'll see soon if/how much of our building costs we 'recoup!' It should be listed now but I think the premier video will be out on Monday. It is one of their Premier property listings so I am looking forward to seeing that video!!
Joe, I’m shocked. I haven’t been keeping up with your channel for many different reasons. Certainly not the quality of your content, It’s always excellent. I’ve grown up with this piece of property and you have worked so hard on it. I’m sure you have a good reason for selling it and moving you always do. I’m guessing this wasn’t an easy decision for you, but I’m sure you have thought this out and will be successful on your new property, it goes without saying watching you leave this property it’s taking a little bit of all your viewers hearts and mind including my own. It’s like we grew up on this property. I wish you and Sharon the best of health. Godspeed to you and your wife safe the travels I need to get caught up. Be safe.😊
Thanks buddy we appreciate the support! In due time we'll definitely share some of our reasons and thoughts, but we are upgrading to a bigger farm that lays out very similar to this one, only larger. The home is older but it is a really nice home situated on a dead end road, with a long private driveway just like this one. So we are starting out all over again! But now we have so many lessons learned, mistakes made, and achievements to draw on for this next saga in our crazy lifestyle! Hope all is well by you, maybe you'll have to make a road trip and do some riding once I get new trails cut on our new Missouri farm! We should have many miles of trails on the over 500 acres of Ozark Mountains!! Take care bud. Thanks

Actually not really. That was the 125 acres that we sold. So now the home and 22 acres will be for sale! Just hit Zillow, but the 'Premier' property video and listing should be live by Monday I hope! I am looking forward to seeing their video production! Thanks

Thanks! Yeah we sure did and they are all still there, only one of them did not make it. They form a nice natural barrier just inside of the gate! I think if you look on this video you should be able to see them! What a difference that one project made! Take care

Yes I know I can use them!! Just depends on how many trips and my trailer space, but I plan on it.
Is that a short-wave antenna setup beside the house?
No, on the tower are some ham radio antennas and then on the other peak is a wifi booster.
Why do you move every 3 weeks?
Well it's been a little more than 3 weeks... Closer to a decade in this case.. But I am looking at the future and the direction of certain places and certain gov't entities.. If you know what I mean.. Looking out for our future well being!
