  • Join me for our first walk through after we now own it! Today we'll take our first road trip over to our new 575 acre Southern Missouri and do the first walkthrough of the home. Normally this is done on the day of closing as a 'final walkthrough' before signing the papers, but we waived that kind of walkthrough since we were at risk of the closing not happening on time. And we pretty much knew what to expect with this being an estate sale; that there will be LOTS of stuff to pick through and clean up, and the place will need a whole home cleaning! So with that being said lets do the first walkthrough and make plans on how to attack the first weekend that we'll be there together. This walkthrough was for Sharon since she could not make it on this trip over to Missouri. If you are new to our channel; welcome! Here are the last couple of videos from this new crazy life and land adventure:
UNVEILING OUR NEW 575 ACRE MISSOURI FARM; ROAD trip, hauling equipment, big snake in barn and meeting up with Pro Staffer Phil:
    • Unveiling our new 575 ...
COMPLETE PROPERTY TOUR, FOOD PLOTS, LAND MANAGEMENT PLANS AND MORE AT PRO STAFFER PHIL'S 165 ACRE FARM:

This is a very exciting episode and we thank you for joining us! If you enjoyed today's video episode please hit the like button and consider subscribing to join us for all of our new life and land adventures from our new land in the Ozarks of Missouri! Thanks for joining us today and we hope you'll consider joining us on our new Missouri homestead and land purchase and all of our future land adventures, land investment adventures and projects, and all of our new Missouri home rehab projects and much more! Oh and by the way if you are interested in making a Missouri land investment and being our neighbors (literally) on a dead end road, and then a dead end, private, gated road enjoying a stunning place to hunt, or build your dream home or a deep woods retreat then you can contact us at Kapper@kapperoutdoors.com
Thank you, we hope to catch you on our next video adventure! #kapperoutdoors #kapperoutdoors2 #kapperoutdoorsMissouri #missouriland #missourihuntingland

Congratulations on the property, and positive vibes on the Health issues.

Kap, you need to get yourself a small dozer like I did, it will really come in handy on that property. It’s money well spent, and you can get a decent one for 20-30k.
    What a great spread.

I can't believe they left so much stuff. When we got to our new house we are pretty sure it was never cleaned and I don't think they even knew how to clean a house. The building which is 40x65 they left all the lights on and not sure how long they were on. All the lights were hooked to extention cords, not anymore. In fact I scrapped them all for LEDs

Does the main part of the house have 8ft or 9ft ceilings? As tall as you are (and me) 9ft ceilings are a must!! How about lining up a bi-weekly house cleaning service to help you and Mrs K to keep all that house neat and tidy!!

One other Idea horse boarding with trails and stables.
How often do you see this anymore in a setting like that, set paths and trails. Scenic areas .
Or keep it tottaly private. But its always an option.

Take a look at Farmcraft 101 page
Nice farm, now what to do.
Grass fed beef, chickens, natural farm or crops.
You could even set aside some land for hunting as a hunting area for renters, and or camp grounds.
But i like the seclusion but its always an option for some extra income, if the farm has a separate entrance for the other land.
You could also possess your own beef to sell.
Me I'd build a shop for woodworking you also have a lot of timber.
Is there 2 homes on the 2 properties?

    • @KapperOutdoors2.0
      @KapperOutdoors2.0  18 днів тому

No just the one home. We will be looking at lots of options as we do need to sell some of it off to afford the rest of what we want to keep. Thank you

The carpet on the stairs is a high end high traffic carpet it will clean better then a contractor type carpet you can buy thats not going to cost a lot.
The people who lived there were very wealthy, and it looks like they either got to old to live in there home and the kids sold it all off they didn't care or one passed away. And the other had no one to care for them. What i saw that gave me the impression was an elevator
Wide doors and grab bars on the john. Also thats a very old bottle of jim beam a rich mans whisky.
    Now marriage to that womam.
If you said you need a pooper pipe scan and prostate issues your my age. Be hopeful you dont have to piss using a tube. Chances are your manhood dont work no more. Just dust comes out.
I got that from a boss i had several years ago after he turned 50
I made it to my 60s men get old stuff dont fire anything but blanks anymore.
And yes i sleep in a diffrent room then my 43 year married wife too.
I snore, wake her up and get a foot kicked at my back, one time she kicked me so hard i landed on the floor. Woke the dogs up.
From my mother in law, give a poop sample, they make you drink a gallon of milk like stuff you'll poop your brains out after you drink it, then you have have to have a camera shoved up your butt.

    • @KapperOutdoors2.0

very good observations for sure! Yes they were wealthy for sure based on all of the home build upgrades and components. They both passed away so family had to sell. Yeah things are quitting on my body all the time! Lots of 'new norms' to get used to! But I'll keep plugging away one day and one small mission at a time! Had a great trip over there again, just got home. Maybe that whiskey bottle is worth something!? Thanks, hope to catch you on another adventure! Take care
