But in the States there is so much options and excess and good things that people take for granted. Almost 100% electricity uptime, Same for indoor plumbing. School bus in every locale, No one walking barefooted and food support for needy students. But I hate to see water and food being wasted, even worse people wasting opportunities. Life's not easy it's not even fair, but every chance we get we gotta grab it.

I visited there (Pre-COVID) about once or twice a year (and I host some who visit the US every now and then). That said some of the comments you made are pretty mindless. There are many people in Kenya bitter with life (try looking in Kibera Slums or on the Kenya/Somalia border Refugee camps just to start). Both the Kibera Slums/refugee camps are the largest urban slum/refugee area on the African continent (You can check the "Guinness World Records" for that).
@@marthakabalika595 He said as much potential as Kenya has, it will never be able to reach it's full potential until it reduces the amount of bad business practices so ingrained in it's government and business community.
That is kenya ,absolutely beautiful.I cannot wait to get home
Welcome home
Sure
Well done African Tgress I really enjoyed the interview with the brother.
Africa is the future , i have living in Sweden allmost 20 years , Iam planning me too in coming years to move back Home in Burundi . Its very exausting to live in Europe , they remind you all the time that is not your home .
Good... Invite me am tired of living in Kenya and I experienced the same
Western world reminds African especially black people that West is not ours.
It's easy to invest in Burundi especially if u live in Europe or America because the dollar or Euro goes farther longer in Burundi. I am planning to buy land in Burundi and Rwanda
I respect brother with humble idea.with that character definitely bro gonna make it.
Bless you AT and the brother this was a great interview. I would love to see more of interviews like this. I hope to see more brothers and sisters make this move as the boarder opens. Just another reminder Africa love y’all brothers and sisters in the diaspora.
I’m coming to Kenya soon nice interview can’t wait to come
Welcome 🙌🏼💞
Welcome. Highly welcomed....
Welcome. Let me know when you going I will go with you. Going there soon if all goes well. Next yr
Welcome
Welcome. whether in a city or village, LOVE is massive! Welcome guys!
I agree with him that Kenya has the right infrastructure (roads, IT, houses, schools, airport, leisure resorts, etc...) that are quite attractive to foreigners & tourists
Is it any other that have the same thing
This is amazing! Richard has even adjusted down to the slow speed at which most black Africans speak. No USA rush-rush and aggressiveness.
It's the coastal weather which has slowed down Richard's speed of talking I guess..😆
@@fabulousfarrahinsouthafrica I cant argue with you !! Its true but you dont have to use abusive language "idiot" and yet I have in identity unlike you. I'm real African , so who is an idiot here ?
@@thomasmackenzie8766 you are speaking facts! African Americans speak English fast usually. There is tension in USA. You work so many hours and are expected to work harder than others I dont care if you are a doctor, lawyer or restaurant waiter. African Americans also get less pay. There IS a stigma in USA. Believe it
True that
I love how you interview all returnees, including those Africans of the diaspora. It's so inclusive.
I can't wait to go to Africa. Love the interview.
You welcomed
You are highly welcome
I'm Nigerian American lived in the US all my life been to Nigeria twice but never got to see Kenya but hopefully I will be there to see Kenya by the grace of God
Waoh my beautiful mother land, Kenya.🇰🇪🇰🇪.. Feel at home bro
There are so many countries it is hard to decide. However, I discovered Kenya is in a good position. It is only 4 hours from West Africa or from Johannesburg. It is a 1 hour flight from Rwanda and it is right next door to Kenya. Everyone I have met from Kenya so far has been wonderful. They are very graceful and kind. So Kenya might be the spot.
Kenya is 7 hours or so from South Africa
Kenya is 4 hours from South Africa unless by road. @@Colourbash
As a KENYAN i welcome all AFRICAN AMERICANS bck home cz hre in AFRICA we are ONE & life's easy cz almost everyone looks like you😊.
You are a very good interviewer sis. You cover a lot of ground every interview I watch. Peace!
@AFRICAN TIGRESS -Asante sana for another excellent interview, and thank you to your guest for sharing his experience, much success
on your return to the motherland.
To be honest, *I always feel sorry for black American especially how they're being treated,,they can't even breath in peace wherever they go,,their hearts always pace that anything can happen to them......*
*I'm glad you decided to relocate and made a huge change in your life and for the sake of your family too congrats on that....*
*I can imagine the last time you sigh....it meant RELIEF & FREEDOM*
*WELCOME TO KENYA & MAY GOD SHINE YOUR WAY*
*By the way,I wonder how the average Africa American are surviving during this covid-19* 😢💔
Asante
Yes, it is challenging. Keep us in your prayers 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Welcome home our brother. We're glad you chose Kenya. Hope you settle down and enjoy life. Please encourage others to come over.
Richard you made the right choice Kenya is awesome awesome awesome I love it can’t wait to be back
Thank you tigress my sister. This subject is very important to people like me who are thinking of returning. When the brother mentioned how he felt when returned I know that resonated with many of us in the diaspora as being black in a European setting is a consent fight, and having travelled to the mother land I know what it's like to feel this wheight drop of my back.
Thanks again queen tigress.
Exodus has finally began...Even bob marley foresaw this. Jah ppl come back home.love from Kenya(Aden) cradle of all mankindd. All are welcome.
Peace and blessings. Are you living in Kenya?
I enjoyed this interview!!! I am loving seeing everyone go back to Africa. I believe it’s definitely important for us to visit Africa, I can not wait until things are over with Corona I order to travel

Things like these and such testimonies about my country are why I pray to the Almighty God and work my best to reach a level I can improve my amazing land Kenya. A nation loved by God Almighty. Thank you African Tigress for sharing such a great interview. Karibu Kenya Richard. God bless you and find all the peace here.. "My land is Kenya, right from the highlands to seas, you will always stay with me here in my heart... Here in my heart!" I always loved that song too
I love that song too
I love Kenya.. I am kenyan but in the middle East... Pregnant right now and I'm craving everything about home from the food to just the feel ❤️ the interview just made me miss home even more
I’m very happy to listen your conversation Richard. You are very welcome to Kenya we love, l love your decision you made . Feel welcome . You are at home now free. I wish you all the best.❤️❤️❤️
I loved this interview, and Richard's advice, in regards to the urgency of making the move to the Continnent.
COME HOME PLEASE....COME HOME ALL OF YOU........MAMA IS CALLING YOU BROTHERS AND SISTERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD....
Wow, I just feel so happy for him. For taking the leap of faith. Mother Africa want’s her children back. It is a spiritual call 🔔
Thank you
Tru dawg it's our time to repent and our GOD Israel
Congratulations Brother Richard. Welcome home. Africa needs many more positive, respectful, driven and down-to-earth brothers and sisters like you. Excellent interview African Tigress. As always, you are greatly promoting Kenya and the motherland. Most potential returnees only see Kenya from a Nairobi perspective and miss the amazingly diverse tapestry of the Kenyan socioeconomic landscape.
Interviewer is well trained, your interview is very clear, I like the way you ask question, on top of that you give guy time to answer your questions.
Thanks Judy
That intro was top notch 👍🏿🖤

Just seeing this channel for the first time,i think you a great interviwer.Good job.
Different places for different people. You have to find out what fits you and your purpose and personality. Great informational video.
Very true 👍
OMG Burger in Kenya are made of beef fillet. And everything on it is fresh. More quality you cant get.
Welcome to Kenya brother. I wish more blacks would come back and let's build Africa where we are loved and appreciated.
Asante
I wish there was a fund set up by the OAU to assist returnees to Africa seeing they didn’t go to America willingly but were taken as slaves. Africa must rise to the occasion! This is a great thing that is happening that the sons and daughters of Africa are coming back home. Welcome back and God bless you.
Excellent interview ... thank you for sharing! 🥰
The mijikenda vibe on the background is lit
Welcome home 🏡 my brother. All African nations are beautiful. Wishing you every happiness and success in Kenya 🇰🇪
Great interviewer. I wish you had asked him about what he does professionally and about his sons experience. After his touching story about the 🔫 which finally help him decide to leave 🇺🇸. Otherwise again. Great interview! Oh I did enjoy the photos of the foods he mentioned😋 I love Kenyan food.
I moved back last year 2019. And it has been a rollercoaster.... its not as easy as it sounds after leaving in US for over 15 years. Move with a plan dont base the move on nostalgia. 🖤

Very insightful questions. I enjoyed the interview very much.
This guy is smart and deep. He also think/cogitate well before he explains himself. His idea of choosing to live a village is great first. That gives you a sense of knowing what to expect.
Asante sana
26:00 is profound. I am Jamaican I grew up there. I now live in the States and have had a relatively easy life in both Places.
Africa for Africans. finally. I live in the Caribbean and I want to visit Africa before I die.
I LOVE that he wanted to live among the people as if he was a native. When I visit any place I do not hang out in tourist areas. I want to have a real experience with the people of that particular place. Also, the spiritual healing is what I crave most.
I agree.
You’re looking beautiful African Tigress. Really like your turban, your makeup and top. This was interesting to hear from this guy. I am so excited about planning my trip to Africa next year ( not to emigrate yet) but I am looking at Tanzania, Gambia and Ghana initially ( I have family in Ghana but never travelled to Tanzania or Gambia before). He’s making me think about Kenya now too 😊
I did alot of research and have never been to any other African country. Kenya is an easy country as far as transitioning from the US and all of the amenities and the standard of living we are used to.
God is good, I'm sooo happy for u brother, wlc home. Proudly Liberia.
Good job sista keep do it, we need to encourage our bro and sista Who want come in africa to feel free and safe to live in africa
Welcome brother, you are safe in Kenya and at the coast wish to see you one day
I support this video, this brother made a bold move to leave a place that he knew as home and he came and made my country it his home.
Most welcome, we love you, we're going to support you and may God bless 💖
