As an Indian, I have to say that this is the closest an American has done to a real Indian accent.
This accent is of an Indian who had learnt English just through books and had never met a native, I bet the Indians living abroad had worked on that accent.

This is so incredible at so many levels. That cold delivery of punchline and waiting for the reaction on recipient's face with the withheld expression is another Indian characteristic that Key has beautifully picked up.

The thing that's so amazing about Key's Indian acting is that not only the voice is incredibly accurate, but the mannerisms as well.

I found Key's impersonation of an Indian person more amusing than Sellers in The Party, is all. Sellers was great at playing a guy who was continually aloof, but Key just hits you with a huge punch at the end.

The Indian accent and look are so spot-on, its scary. American actors usually do an exaggeratedly bad version of the Indian accent/mannerisms. But in this case, if I didn't know Key any better, I'd have thought he was an actual Indian guy. Hats off to these guys!!
