This EQ has a nice neutral sound. I knew the brand but didn't knew the product on its own? Great test on it. I hate when some reviewer are super conservative, cause we sometimes don't even hear what it brings to the sound. You did it perfectly. By exagerating a bit you let us hear what we really want to hear (how it affect the sound). Good job. 👍

Hi Dom! You need to try MAAT theqorange. 1:1 old algorithmix PEQ. And as far as I know it has even greater precision than weiss. And it operates at 80 bit. so... Have a nice testing. Love your videos! Keep it up :)

On a Final Master (Thats been ran through Analog - Hybrid) ...
.If you can use your ears with this and understand how to make this thing get Punchy.....within your mix....this is the BEST IDEA...for final mastering in the Box
its a very Proffesional Touch on your Final Master.....really Industry standard sound....
Im using Access Analog on mixes for Pre Master
Then using this....after I run that mix through my Rack...all I can say is
Weiss MKII...on final Production...is the best Quality your gona get in Hybrid Final Mastering in the DAW

whatever you do get yourself a Mac and logic...do NOT ever bother with Cubase, Fruity loops discussed as FL studio or Reaper...in fact reaper is what it is, your death to music.
With the dynamic nodes, can they be sidechained so for example a vocal can help an instrument buss duck out of the way of the vocal?... Would be awesome if it did this, just wondering?... Great review!

Ive got the EQ, Limiter and MkII....these three on Permanant for Final Hybrid (My Analog Rack and Access Analog + DAW) Masering
You save those three for last...they will put that Proffessional Polish to go from Great Mix to Final Master

Hey Dom, Would love to see this in action with the Console 1. I'm a bit confused since the Console 1 has the Weiss Gambit strip which I assume has less bands and doesn't have dynamic or mid/side EQ.. But still says it's a 1:1 code port...?

If I were selling these Plugins...each one would be $300 and if you cant see the value in that...then I would want you a customer...LOL...because these are next level...these bring you up to "Mastering Engineer Quality"

BTW- I think that EQ is very very different than any other EQ out there...
Hey man! The Lynx Hilo serves the role of my mastering converter in my studio. It converts AD-DA so I monitor through it but most importantly, I run my analogue mastering chain through it ;) I'll do my studio tour video and talk more about it ;)
I don't know, I still like Ozone 9 EQ, but it's a great choice

When you clicked on mid/side option n boosted the low end, is it boosting the low end of mid or sides?

Ganged mode isme jo hai wo Mid/side ko link krra hai...us option ko off krdega to unlink hojaenge aur separately process krsakta hai tu mid/side. Ganged button ke sath jo pehla button hai wo Mid ka hai aur next wala side ka.
Isne jab boost mara to mid pr effect kiya boosting ne.
Ch1 - mid
ch2 - side

500 bucks for an EQ VST? Man, that's crazy... I don't think that one has to spend THAT much given the way too many EQ plugins out there... Can't image that this one is so special that it's rational to buy one such expensive.
It´s a very special EQ. Haven´t heard anything quite like it in the vst realm.
