Great tutorial ... I got it all off and clean the deck mower all up, sharpen my blades and they were balanced ... you inspired me so much that I even changed my V-Belt ground drive ... then ... changed both spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter and when I got it all back running - feels like I got a new 2003 Craftsman 20 OHM V-TWIN mower ... incredible ... God bless you and thank you!!!!

@@JohnsonsSmallEngines hey Brad do you have Facebook?I was just wanting to show you my 2012 John deere D110 tractor before and after,I bought it used and looks like a new one, thanks from mack.
Dude has 1 less hand and was still in and out with it and had lots of great information. I recently acquired one of these for free, got half my yard done and the motion drive belt broke lol. Looking to replace both now I guess. Only struggle I’m having issues finding the correct belt. Sears doesn’t exist around me anymore, ugh!
Try using the web site "Sears Parts Direct" You should be able to find your parts look up diagram using your model from under the seat or on back fender under seat depending on how old the machine is. Once you have the part number, you can find a after market or OEM belt. You do not need to purchase it from Sears. Sears does not make anything, they just put there name on it .
@@JohnsonsSmallEngines I was able to find one from a local parts store actually. Just went and got a belt of the same dimensions and was easily able to swap it out yesterday thanks to your video. Thanks!
Most likely no because they may be made from different manufacturers. You would need to check the models to find out who makes each machine. Craftsman does not make the machine they just put there name on it.
For exact match, you will need the model number from under your seat and go to your search engine online to find a parts lookup to get the correct part number. Once you have your part number you can find it from there.

I feel like the deck sits too low on my lt2000 is there any way to raise it up. On the 4 setting its scalping my grass. 6 feels too low and any little bump or uneven surface its getting into the dirt.
The belt is not adjustable. When you engage your blade engagement handle/cable it has a spring on it that puts tension on the belt. You either have a belt issue, mower deck pulley issue or a blade engagement cable issue.
I can’t believe so many steps have to be taken to replace this belt. It’s a real pain in the ass. I’ve done it once and I’m doing it again. Hopefully get another lawnmower near future. That’s much easier to replace the belt on.
What size is that washer on top of the spindle that holds the engagement cable , how did you get that belt off so easy mine has tension on it makeing it harder than you make it look😏
That mower is a ayp made mower I can tell by the front mount s for the front of the mower deck because if it was made by Husqvarna mower company that front mower deck mounting point would be only one most of the time
Yes sir, This was also made back in the day when the Kohler Command engines were popular on this series. I really liked the Kohler command single cylinder engines :).

So I have 2 lt200’s once with 1 front mounting bracket and the other 2 mounting brackets are the interchangeable?
Most likely no because they may be made from different manufacturers. You would need to check the models to find out who makes each machine. Craftsman does not make the machine they just put there name on it.
Great video,
Do you know the part number for the front belt bracket that breaks off? I have been looking and I cant find an exact match.
Thanks.

I feel like the deck sits too low on my lt2000 is there any way to raise it up. On the 4 setting its scalping my grass. 6 feels too low and any little bump or uneven surface its getting into the dirt.
You can raise the deck using the deck hanger adjusters.
How do you just that belt? I have a 2003 looks the same. The belt is loose when the deck is engaged.
The belt is not adjustable. When you engage your blade engagement handle/cable it has a spring on it that puts tension on the belt. You either have a belt issue, mower deck pulley issue or a blade engagement cable issue.
Thank you getting back to me. I’ll take look into that.

what can you tell me about size of of first clip you take off?
The Part number is a Husqvarna 532003146
