Great review. Thank you. I was thinking about buying this Lidl battery strimmer but I saw the mains powered version last week for £20, but I got £5 off by using the great Lidl app, so only paid £15! Bargain. It’s basic, but does the job
Thanks for the video! Lidl in Ireland are bringing in a 20v cordless strimmer this Monday and having various X20V batteries I was looking online to see if its a worthehile purchase, but all of the strimmers, yours included, seem to be a different model. The one shown on the magazine seems to be a one piece, non adjustable plastic bodied machine, and not the one that you got so recently. It's odd that they would have two different models for the same battery and time period!?

Strange that the holes for the guard don't line up with the holes on the guide wheel that would be ideal.
Hi Marty ..yes strange why they are there..the guard does hold it very firmly in place though so no chance of it coming out.

on mine, the filament breaks every 30 sec max...
