Your choice I was going to say that would probably be the second choice next to the AmEx but you did well congratulations
Thanks again Tony 👍🏼
@@MatchboxGarage 💯👍💯
We hope that things are fine with you Rob. We miss your redos.
Where you at Rob? Hope you're doing well.
Hope all is well with you and your family, any videos coming?
Rob we all looking forward to a new video. I hope everything ist allright with you and your family
This was an awesome build. The color and carbon fiber, and the detail work made this car look fantastic
Great work, nice colour and those black trims on sides make it look more realistic.
That "carbon hood" looks good too, just perfect wheels 😎
Glad you're back, I have missed watching your videos.
Beauty job here Rob. Glad to have you back in the saddle.
Yet another absolutely fantastic job! What a beautiful paint finish! I also really love the tiny details you do on these cars.
I think Mazda RX7s are increasing in value as they're very rare today. People will always love a classic sports car. These sold very well in the USA apparently.
Mr Rob, just wanted to let you know we all miss you and we hope all is well with you and your family.
Love that color. Your details are fantastic and those wheels are just perfect for the car. 👍🏼👍🏼
Rob, you always turn a crap car diecast into a great looking masterpiece. Kudos to you. Thank you for sharing.
Great to have you back Rob. And you really knocked that RX-7 out of the ballpark.
Hey Rob beautiful job love the paint and carbon fiber!! Maybe your foot long hot dog jar works better cause there is more water so it stays hotter for a long period of time. Take care and can't wait to see the next build
Beautiful job and great painting 👏😊
Beautiful build Rob. A fine little car!
Very nice job Rob, missed you sir. I enjoy your videos and rides...
Are you okay Rob? We miss you.
Awesome build it turned out perfect. Great job
Nice restoration and paint job 👍 👍
A beautiful customization Rob! Love the details.
Anytime I'd prefer these educational 'UA-cam' videos. It's interesting to listen and watch. Especially if I'm in the mood, to want to restore stuff/appliances. In fact how to restore anything.📹
nice to see you back. another wicked job
The chromed Mazda badge in the front is fantastic. I'd also say that gold wheels would probably look as good given the colour of the windows.
P.s. since you asked - previous camera angle was better for me, but if the new set up works better for you h excellent, keep it that way. Cheers!
I love how this turned out! :) Great colour and wheel choices! :)
Hello Rob
Well done 👏
Remarkable job... Thanks for the vid.
1987 Mazda RX7 looks like something out of Fast and Furious film franchise
Nice one. Love the collour
I dunno what music you have in background but its most relaxing😊😊
Rob is back!!!!
Glad to see you back on making videos! Hope all is well!
Going to be honest.... the cbfiber weave needs to be way smaller.... but the idea was good!
I had an '87 RX-7 Turbo II in white (NA spec). Amazing car. Probably my favorite car I've ever driven. You could make it scream with it's super high redline.
Great job! Looks amazing!
So in this video not only did you bend your trusty screwdriver, you also had to deal with a hammer thief! 😂😂 I have to say for all the tool issues you did an outstanding job sir.
Now this belongs in Mami Vice!! Great work, wheels and tires!!!
So glad to see you are back. Missed your videos!
not going to lie to u man I thought this was a Porsche haha but once I saw the back of it then I realized that it was a Mazda haha but it turned out amazing bud!! very cool and I love the color!!!
That turned out fantastic! Nice work Rob!
Awesome job rob.👍
Nice job ,so amazing keep it up 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👀👀
Nice one Rob Cheers Michael
Hi Rob,nice car with the carbon bonnet, the wheels make it pop against the paintwork,it seems to have a street racer look about it.
This car looks great. Love this generation of the RX-7, a favorite car. Great job on the paint and wheel choice with the carbon fiber.
Welcome back Rob . Great job with your Customizing Work on the Matchbox Mazda Rx7 great job with the new paintjob and wheels and tires.
The carbon fibre is a nice, fancy touch Rob; don't often see it on a diecast car.
The new camera angles and production are excellent. There wasn't a lot weong with the old style but this is better all round - looks great.👍👌😁
Cheers for now,
Dougie.
P.S. Need to get a padlock on your hammer drawer.😁
A real beauty!
Nicely done rob
Nice job... Love it 👍
Looks awesome mate, great job 👍
Pretty good, mate.
In the '80s, I used to work for a small college, and some of the students from well-to-do families had the RX-7. They were a thing back in the day.
My favorites are the '70s and '80s restorations, because those are the cars from real life I remember most.
Great job!
Do you think the hot caustic soda solution could be used to remove paint from plastic? Have you tried this? Just wondered.
Great wheel choice - just the right ride height and poke
Nice job.
I love that the mbx wide rx7 used the same base as the mbx narrow version, meaning, that they had to fit wider wheels which then filled the arches, so just like the real wide car the arches were actually needed... Normally they just make a new cast, don't they.. so I live the authentic reason for the body kit "we fitted wider wheels"
Gorgeous
I like it when you say "Get the foot long hotdog jar."
A very sad bland RX7 to start with. Terrific looking end result Rob. The RX7 is a fab looking car.
Where did you go? Hope everything is ok?
Awesome car
Well tidy RX.
Like matchbox Mazda rx7
Довольно отличная работа
Good job rob very good👍
Long time no videos my friend... you doing allright?
He there Rob! Murphy’s law justa as I thought you were taking a Marty’s style extended break! Liking the new camera angles mate!
Stay safe and enjoy the spring weather and pints.
Thanks Malcolm, I've seen your message on Patreon, I will reply you soon mate 👍🏼
Nice! Ah, the '80s RX-7. A guy I knew in high school had one. Did he mention that it had a rotary engine every time he had the _slightest_ opportunity? Yes. Yes he did. He seemed to think girls would find it particularly impressive, poor deluded boy. :)
Estupenda restauración de este mazda💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🙏🙏💯💯💯
Another great job!... wonder if the foot long hotdog jar holds the heat longer and that is helping more than the caustic soda concentration ?
Could be mate
Hey Rob i found a Matchbox 3500 as a Police Variation at Work today He was in the dirty for a Long Time but the parts are still in very good condition and idk what i should so with this sad little Thing ...
Greetings from Germany
Hocus-pocus/Carl Hansen used to drive; a mini fire engine, back then during the early 1960s in San Jose California.
Hi Rob, love your channel. Could you show what the foot-long hotdogs look like? We don't have them in the US, well at least not in New York anyways.
Sehr geil🤤🤤🤤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Looks fantastic! Do you do a wet application of the vinyl? I used to work for a signage company as a kid and we’d use dish soap and something called “frog juice.”
Well done, shame about the roof at back though🤔
nice custom restoration...a bit too much magenta tone in the paint for me; I prefer a darker tone to candy red...
Stylin!
Came out nice Rob, You mentioned in the unboxing the Matchbox Garage is going to be moving rooms, have you moved yet?
Not yet mate, I will be moving temporarily over the next couple of months then in my new permanent station later in the summer
Will You do a 1958 Plymouth Fury next? its my dream car
Great Job Rob, how's the workshop move going?
Not started yet mate but very soon 😊
Tasty, Rob, very tasty! 👍👍👍
will you ever do a give away
Great job on this one Rob, you may see a car you recognize on my channel tomorrow 😉 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️😃👍🏻
Rob l did see on the Model of The RX7 there look like a sunroof . would be cool if you cut that out so you could see inside the car for the top if it had clear plastic glass.
Good idea
@@MatchboxGarage Glad you like the idea and maybe you can try it out sometime.
Did you notice that I'll never hear Hocus-pocus/Carl Hansen's voice ever again? 👂🎶😔😢💔😌👂🎶
I hate how much it bothers me that the carbon fiber weave is too big for scale.
I just haven't told Paul restorer that I have; an old record player, tape recorder and CD player to restore. I even have; a small black vinyl link record, to restore. It features the children's TV show studio; Circus clown Hocus-pocus, best known as Santa's helper. 🤡😂🤣😑👌😒🤡
don't like the side black band...
