- Following our first Elite Basin review - we time the Elite Basin. We show you how to time the Basin and discuss issues with timing.
We then shoot the Basin and compare it to shooting it before. We shorten the draw by 1/2" and then shoot at 18meters to see what sort of group we get.
There is no better, more honest, more genuine reviewer in the Archery industry. You can't change my mind
Always enjoy the honesty from you where most reviewers seem more like advertising lately.
Keep giving us honest down to earth reviews as you always do! No company puts out perfect bows everytime. So many great bows and bow companies out today. Thanks
Most honest reviewer on youtube.
Thanks for reading the comments and having another crack at this bow, i appreciate your time and effort to do so. Would it be possible to test another basin out of the box to just check if this was a one off that slipped through quality control or if there is an issue from the factory with this model?
Great look into bow setup!!
Thank You Steve, Please carry on as you do ? I agree with everything the Guys before me said > You are the Best !!
Love your determination
Just picked up the package deal I love the bow but I’m also brand new to this
Love the review. I think ill stay with PSE products for now
I love elite, for myself as i buy the flagships. but for my two boys???? i got one of them the ember and it was nice, till now, outgrew it and I refuse to just buy a bow and have it shipped to me. REALLY appreciate you. Elite should as well, take criticism and fix the next bow. They really need to start carrying a camo in some of these, at least one. geez
Hey Steven, Did you consider using the yoke twists to achieve smaller amounts of cam timing movement?
Wish I would have watched this review. First time shooting a bow. At my local shop the basin was all they had for me. Was having a hard time with the other bows they had at the time. After seeing your review I would have gone with a way cheaper bear bow.
Ahhhha TV adds,.......... Lancaster yep. 🏹🤠👍
as always great review with tons of good info, the time it takes to tune would be impossible at our local shops...absolutely no way in hell they would dedicate 30+ minutes on a $500 US bow.
Wow you really went above and beyond with spending all that time fixing Elites mistake. I have two Elites and its disappointing to see that more care wasn't taken. My Elites are much pricier models, but you can't sell a beginner a bow that is so messed up! Shame on Elite and kudos to you! 👏👏👍👍👍
I've owned and own 4 Elites that requires removing the stops. Yes it is a pain in the ass so don't get in a rush. For a shop it's time consuming and the cost can add it up I'm sure over many bows. Personally, I really don't mind it too much as the bows are fantastic machines IMO. Very seldom do I have to press an Elite. New string-cables once in a while and then maybe once after the strings have been shot some to correct the timing. The timing has to be as exact as possible. This is important for all bows. Not just the Elite
Hey Steven, cheers for the video, what winch are you using on the drawboard.
Being in the same price point would you pick this or the ember?
Is the bowtech amplify better than tye basin
