I lived in the Philippines for 11 years and I can truly say it's a wonderful place and it's where I learned to be a better person. Looking forward to going back to stay next year. Cheers!
Thank you so much for asking us to virtually feature in your vlog. We watched your videos way before our trip here and fell in love with Siargao and the Philippines through your amazing vlogs. Hope to be able to meet you in person one day. 😍
We were in Bali when everything started to get worse and we had to make a tough decision of whether to stay or not, and for us going back home felt like the better choice for us. Sometimes we think and wonder how it would be to stay and enjoy being in the beautiful nature. Glad Filipinos are so welcoming and helpful to you, stay safe you alll!!
i agree...just like any other nations out there, not everyone can be good to you... but most chose to be rather good...but still some filipinos would even hurt their own let alone the foreigners... its just nice if youre surrounded by good people.
Hi all I've been here since February 13th with my wife our flights got cancelled for may so we're here for a bit longer but we have all we need and have been given rice from the village barangay we have been giving back by cooking bread cakes and pizza and giving it away to the village the philippines is probably the best place for us to be in the world at the moment

I agree with u Mixed Mixed. I think Filipinos are d most resilient race on earth. Scarcity, manmade & natural calamities, crimes, corruption, traffic jams and other negative situations are almost d daily situations that most Filipinos have to face courageously. To keep our sanity, we sing it out in videoke or crack jokes out of every negative situation that makes us laugh heartily, stay strong & grow emotionally & mentally as a person. We always smile even though our hearts are breaking and aching. This attitude of positivity makes us tough, resilient & sane to be able to think about practical things to cope that would alleviate any experienced sufferings. We laugh & sing not only in the shower room but everywhere. Thanks for reading my reply. 🙂😊😅😀🤣

This is a great vid. I'll literally been watching most of you that have been "stranded" since this pandemic started. Makes me miss the Philippines. My family and I were just there in Jan. Love this video, enjoy the hospitality and spirit of the Filipino and stay safe. Pretty awesome to see everyone is happy and healthy. I believe most of you are in great areas especially those outside of the "city" areas. The Juicy Vlog can give you some insight on life in Manila, they are living in BGC and stuck in their apartment but staying positive. Love this video.
Hello from Cadiz City...the places near the sea are a gold mine compared to Manila and Cebu City. I am living with my Filipino family on the beach. Here among the villagers I enjoy the safety not found in other places in the world. Going on 4 months now but zi am blessed to be in a Covid 19 free place. Take the time for learning the local language as this will provide another bridge into the heart of the Filipinos. Be safe and enjoy the journey. James
My quarantine is quite good because, I was able to do fix the things I was about to do, 2ndly, I am not sick but hearing or reading all those affected with covid ad if I am sick too. we only hope and pray that this will end soon.
If you are stuck in the philippines during quarantine, you are so blessed because you have the fresh air, you can go to the beach anytime esp if you are in the islands, compared to where i was in a studio apartment in NEw Your. Imagine you cant get out especially if you are a covid survivor. It makes you crazy. The chickers are luckier because they can see their surroundings inside their cage. My constant companions are my plants and my Ipad. But am still grateful i was alive and kicking and finally moved to Arizona and did hiking, mountain climbing and etc.
It's true that we are in tough times but you will really learn a lot from Filipinos right now. Personally, I always stay at home during this quarantine. Since I am working from home, this kinda give me more ease without worrying my safety. Though there are things I cannot do during this quarantine like going out with friends, I usually think that this is the best opportunity to do things I wasn't able to do back then. I am now doing workouts at home, trying to explore my hobby more, and try to watch videos that interest me. I always always tell myself that this is an opportunity, not crisis, to feed my mind, heart and soul. They say, coins always have two sides. So, let's look this situation in the brighter side as well. God bless, both of you and keep safe!
Hi guys! I have been watching your videos for some time but it is my first time commenting (first time ever to comment in youtube)... Just want to thank you for the nice comments about the Philippines. I am Filipino but I am not on the Philippines now. I went out on the day the lock down was about to start. I am currently in China where I have been working since 2013. Although I am a Filipino, I actually envy you, you have been to all parts of the Philippines, I have never been to those great places that you have been vlogging about. Thanks to you I got to see the Philippines and am now planning on going on a road trip around the Philippines when I get home and when this crisis is over. Thank you very much again! Keep safe always... Hope to see more of your videos.

I found myself thinking how life is not predictable and that I should do all the things that I love and you guys made me realize that. So now I made up my mind that as soon as this all end, I will travel and will go to places I want to go. Do the things I love. Thank you Mike and Nelly and it would be awesome to meet you one day. You are so grateful to everyone,, and I am one of your many viewers who are very thankful to you. You are my window to the outside world, besides few families and friends, and the news, but the latter is almost always negative (though if we carefully look at them, there are so many good things coming out of this pandemic), and you're my only company. You are the positive force helping us through this. I am also happy for you guys, like when Mike said you wouldn't have asked for a better place to be. We can also look at our situations, no matter how bad it is, as a blessing in disguise. Hopefully, we can all see the good side, be better persons with this new expereince, and appreciate better all our blessings. More blessings!😍

I love it how people turn situations into a positive one! We could all learned from you guys instead of complaning we just need to look around and appriciate what we have! Thank you for staying and showing us the philippines has to offer!
What’s keeping us up and about is prayer. This phenomenon in our life taught us something spiritual. That without our God, our Creator, we are nothing. So I together with my family encouraged them for a daily prayer through a format we call novenas. It’s indeed very rewarding to see your family in prayer together, a thing we sparingly done before. This event in our lives is for sure God’s way of telling us ‘hmm...you seemed to forget me already.’

God bless, both of you and keep safe!
your so beautiful 😍

So glad to see you, guys keeping safe & happy there in Siargao. Here in Australia, restrictions are easing every week. As everybody does I'm banking in isolation. God bless.

We love you Mike and Nelly and I hope everyone is safe. This too shall pass.
