We have 14 cats so our primary wardrobe throughout the house is grey, lol. It seems to show less cat hair than dark colors for sure. Charcoals and lighter greys and marled greys are the bees' knees. I'm learning so much from you! I've already begun knitting combination style, I'm working on my first wraparound, and now the running markers? Mind blown. I'm glad I found you.
Yay! I’m so glad you’re learning so much 😊 Greys are excellent neutrals for capsules - they go with EVERYTHING - including cat hair 🤣
I never thought about trading out buttons on store bought garments. What a great way to personalize your wardrobe and have fun! Thanks for the tip!

I've knitted that jacket and also two other of Hinterm's jackets. They are great! I used a cotton/wool blend yarn for Cosy Cubes and it is not too heavy/warm. I also find Continental aran (like DK and 4ply) slightly lighter.

Great video. I love Hinterm Stein designs, simply classic, beautiful and chic. I have purchased a few of them, mostly her beautiful tops as I am in Florida now and need warm weather garments. I was looking at this jacket just a few days ago but decided to pass on it right now. It is gorgeous but alas, I am in FL and would not get much use out of it. I am looking forward to seeing your finished garment. I am sure you will love it.

Good day, I am so happy to see someone who makes that on the internet... to say, reproduce a sewn garment that you like to knit something similar!!! I just made a similar exercise because the garment was way over my budget if I bought the pattern and the material... so, I browsed over the internet and found similar pattern and started to knit with some slight adjustments, with a yarn that I already owned... I am about to finish... Can't wait to see yours. Thank you for sharing with us!

Love that jacket Nicole. Look forward to seeing your progress with it. I like buttons too. I once bought a cardi years ago from M&S just because it had lovely buttons - none of them matched but it looked so cool!! Cardi now gone but I still have the buttons. 😂😂. 🙋🏼🏴

First, You can do anything you set your talent to. Second, I developed my ‘capsule wardrobe’ by accident. 12 years wearing school uniforms left me with no taste for fashion- and a clear understanding that ‘fashion trends’ age badly. My neutrals are multi-colored - generally containing as many of the ‘accent’ colors as possible. You rock, girl!

Some time ago someone told me to start a sleeve as a swatch and when that is done you have part of a sleeve or keep going and you have sleeve(s) done! 😮
Yes, that's a great tip when you have sleeves knit separately from the bottom up! 😊

Buttons! eBay is the place to go for buttons, so much so, I had to stop going there because I was buying too many buttons.

It’s easy to get overwhelmed. I use the filters a lot to make sure I’m getting as close to what I want on the first page 😊
