- How to get through the Ice Path on Pokemon Crystal.
Note: This is not how to do the ice path on Gold or Silver which are different games (and different puzzles) to this one.
I apologise for the poor quality, there's not much I can do about it.

Recently, a kid who never played Pokémon GSC told me : "the cave between cerulean city and lavender was so hard, it was dark and i was lost, etc."
Seriously, the Ice Path was way harder.
Rock tunnel was a nightmare without flash, but this is just torture

Well there was but it was really slow and expensive so there wasn't a way to look up a solution.

Get this... i saved right after beating the 3 monks, and caught Suicune, 1st attempt, with ONE ultra ball!! I only had one available so I said I'll mess around and battle the legendary and at least try... haha
I just used 17 great balls. I’m sure my purified water could make up for the money lost on great balls (182)

Tip to everyone else I found changing speed to 3/4 made it a bit easier to keep up

Ice Path isn't exactly exclusive to Crystal, it was just updated with better textures which actually look like ice this time.
The caption says "This Ice Path is exclusive to Crystal", meaning this particular version of the puzzle is exclusive to Crystal alone. Because as you said, it was mixed around a bit and updated so the textures resembled ice.
The other comments: "OMG I was struggling with the puzzle so bad thank you so much!"
Me: "I didn't see bro use the repel and he didn't encounter a wild swinub every 2 seconds, I call BS."
Correct - you didn't. And the reason for that is I used a gameshark cheat code to turn off wild encounters, which I stated in the description. I didn't want the menu-surfing to take too much time out of showing how to get through the cave.

The first ice part is so unfair from Gold, Silver and Crystal, the Gameboy screen was to small and you must remember where you're going and where to move, this is a really bad level design to me I mean I'm ok with puzzle challenges but come on how can you do it without a guide?

I played Crystal for 3 fucking years.... all 3 of those years were spent trying to get through this god damn place thing. I quit the game after 3 years of trying to get through here, I thought it was impossible.
I always thought there was a lady from the dancing hall at the end maybe thats only in the remakes
Yeah the Kimono Girls only play a more prominent role in the remakes. In the originals the only thing they do is be the requirement to get Surf.

The ice path seems to have a really low wild encounter rate (I know he used gameshark but even when you don't cheat or repel the encounter rate is very low)

Did anyone actually struggle with Crystal's Ice Path? I was so proud of myself for getting through it easily on a recent playthrough only to realize it's because the one I had on GBC was Silver and it was actually different and harder lol. I gave it another go right after finishing Crystal and, yup, got stuck again...
I didn't, but might have been partly because I became far more familiar with ice sliding puzzles after Gold and Silver
As much as I love playing by myself I kinda have to use this

he used cheats and the reason to that is that he didnt encounter any pokemon during the progress
hah some people have video 'pokemon gold going through the ice path' (similar) but it's actually crystal

Wow nice, we have the same cut-offs. I really wanted to complete the DS era so I pushed through B&W, especially because I loved the idea of a Pkm main series game having a direct sequel, but... still didn't love it, not even the noticeably better B2W2. All the things people praised felt like bloatware to me. Platinum was the last game I enjoyed.

I just wondered , I know how celebis , well I pretty much know how he is summoned and what steps make major so called "asthetic scripts" turn into whole other quests with maps from the stadium2 event patch
I just wondered if anbody else got the shiny pika in silver cave in g/s and saw red with that level 99 mew in hiss party after giving green and yellow their pokemon respecivly blastoise and venusaur back after borrowing them for the battle against the player hiro in g/s/c chapter
this is with a complete pokedex btw only,
then it was a shiny butterfree you saw at mt moon
then you had to help elm with his egg move problem
and ebattle everysingle npc for so many times
and use stadium 2 and 1 with your red , blue , yellow , gold silver , crystal games, and get level 100 gengar from red blue yellow
and take it to sprout tower when he went above level 129 I got some strangeness
a shiny steelix in union cave
a gs ball from mystery gift
a real shiny celebi in g/s
a articuno in the lefthandside of seafoam islands
blastoise and squirtles wild
moltres in silver cave in crystal and in the volcano , a man would appear in the spot where blue used to stand and say about the butterfree then eventually the guard would move inside lavender radio for zapdos in g/s but at rt 10 like hg in crystal version with the mobile stadium distribution secret events when ou first pluged in crystal having the others updateing everything with transfer pack by patch
does anybody know if im missing anything minus the safari zone wardens lost coin and the grimer problem to get the dojo master kiyo back in saffron

I pretty much know you must already have celebi to even see one to obtain one to give to another cart , and he is possible in all 3 g/s/c but I do believe he may come from a real egg in gold, and mew is patched to yellow by stadium2
oh and you get that "SWEET HONEY" IN THIS PATCH IN CRYSTAL "AND TIME TRAVEL" MOBILE GB STYLE EVENTS APPLIEAD BY PATCH FOR EVEN "BUBBLE MAGICARP LEVEL 15" WAS AN EVENT
THE PINK BUTTERFREE AT MT MOON , SHINY UNOWN , SHINY HOOT HOOT AT RT 29 , THE BUTTERFREE WAS FORTNIGHTLY ONLY SAT 3PM , THE SAFARI ZONE , YOU GOT EGGS TOGETHER FOR THEM AS TEAM OCKET STOLE THE POKEMON AND YOU HAD TO GIVE THEM TO THE DAYCARE MAN FOR THE WARDEN AND YOU SEE WHERE THE GLITHED WATER TILE IS IN THE ENTRANCE BIT TO THE 1ST FIELD OF THESAFARI ZONE WHERE YOU WOULD EXPECT A WARP TILE TO BE , THE GATEHOUSE WAS TO THE RIGHT OF THAT AND THE PATCH OF GLITCH TILE IS WHERE THE DAYCARE COUPLE STAND WHEN YOU FIRST GO IN THEIR IN THE SECRET EVENTS IN G/S/C VIA STADIUM2'S EVENT

* They differ enough to warrant seperate videos.
* Red has never had a Level 99 Mew in his party in any legitimate copy of Gold Silver or Crystal.
* No idea where you're going with the whole Celebi thing.
* You seem to be talking about another carnation of the game but say it's in Gold or Silver. Weird. At any rate, Red has never had a Level 99 Mew in any legitimate copy of the game nor can you get the original 3 starters without trading or cheating in these games. And even if you do get them, you don't "give them back" to anyone.
* You can't get the Legendary Birds either. Again, you have to trade.
* You can't solve the Grimer problem, the Lost Coin doesn't exist and the Dojo Master stays in Mt. Mortar.
* Even if the carts from the BETA are legit, they're BETA items and are useless.
* "Patch" seems to imply that you have a copy of Crystal where the Honey mechanic was fully introduced.
* The Pink Butterfree doesn't exist outside of that one episode of the Pokémon anime. Shiny Butterfrees are purple with pink-tinted wings.
* There's nothing upstairs in Silph. Co or the Lavender Town Radio Tower. Believe me I've tried noclipping behind the guard to use the stairs but it just forces you onto the same tile as the guard. Going back up repeats the process.
Conclusion: You're talking bollocks. Prattling on about random inaccurate trivia which I suspect is the result of typing what you're thinking without proofreading.
