Hi, there! I have a question regarding the Janome coverstitch 1000. I happen to know that it has had skipping stitches issues. I know it is a new (3000 cpx) one now, 2022. However, it is expensive. Is there any reason for me not going for 1000 or 2000, contra the newest edition? And I would love the band device as well…. Necessary tools, right😂😅😅👏👏 I live in Norway
Thank you for the feedback Maureen. These "videos" are captures of Instagram Live presentations and it's Instagram which does not let me rotate the camera, so when viewed on another platform, the image is tall and skinny. When viewed on our @janomehq Instagram page, it's fine, but I realize not everyone has an Instagram account, so I also post the presentations here to share more of the Janome love!
Please, please make a video specifically about threading and problem solving. Example; skipped stitches, tunnelling. Use of the upper knob.
For light-weight and medium-weight knits, do you recommend “SUK” needles? And which size?

Thank you. Helpful information. Please turn your phone sideways when filming so that the video can be wider. It would be easier to see.

Is the cover stitch machine used for overlapped seams in leggings and athletic wear?
yes, you could use it for that kind of seam, too, in addition to finishing the hem edge.
that is a flay lock stitch made with another kind of machine
Thank you. So Helpful.
thank you sew much! Thank you for sharing the Janome love!
