Is it easy to work with rolled hem on silk and chiffon ? How about the swimsuit materials?

Hi Nelly. The AT2000D comes with one foot, but there's others available as optional accessories. Rolled hems can be done very easily on any fabric. I sometimes use water solvable stabilizer to help support the hem on more delicate fabrics. Knits of all kinds are a breeze to use on the serger, including swimwear fabric. Attaching the elastic can also be done on the serger, so it's quick and easy with professional results! It's a great machine!

Can this serger sew heavy fabrics like polyester fleece or heavy French terry? Thanks! Does the presser foot raise any higher when you need to get thick fabric under the foot?
Yes and you can also lighten the presser of the presser foot, which helps feed thicker fabric more readily. It's a fabulous machine! Happy Sewing!
What are the little holes on the top of the serger and what do you use the finger that is on top of the looper?
Hi there, is this serger has auto tension ?
HI Nelly! No, the serger does not have auto tension - you adjust each of the threads individually with the tension control dial; up to increase the tension, down to lower it. There's several charts in the manual with suggestions for various techniques. The adjustments are very easy to make - always do a test sample first!
