    I just viewed a video from a UA-cam vlogger named 'Penguin and Pear' who gave a demonstration on what a Cover Stitch machine is and what it can do. She used your machine, 2000CPX , and gave it rav reviews, so I searched you out to learn more. Thank you for your demonstration today.

    Great video - I am in Australia and very impressed with this machine, so much that I am going to order one. Cover stitch machines have come such a long way (price and quality) from the Elna that I bought about 15 years ago and then died 10 years later.

    I didn't realise you could run on stitching with this machine like you can with a serger. I've only just bought on second hand and all the other videos I've watched say to stop at the end of the work and pull the top threads through to tie off.

    Love your videos👌! I purchased the CoverPro 2000CPX based on your video and wanted to know one thing. Coming to the end of coverstitching, the fabric can be rolled off like a serger? Video section (16:00) you demonstrated the fabric rolled off the coverstitch instead of stoping at the end of the fabric and pulling the needle threads from under the pressure foot. If so, I was always taught never to roll the fabric off when coverstitching or it will damaged the machine. Your feedback would be appreciated.

      Hi Lou! Chaining off without fabric underneath the needles won't damage the machine, but it's recommended to use a "leader and ender" so the stitches form immediately on the fabric of your project, so they lock and are more secure. I wasn't sewing another piece of fabric afterwards, so I just chained off for time's sake. Happy Sewing!

    Can we sew flat lock in this machine?

    • @janomehqjanomecanada4908
      @janomehqjanomecanada4908  3 роки тому

      HI Nelly, it won't be a true flatlock as on a serger as it has be done in two steps. Fabric edges butted together, stitch down the seam, then flip the fabric over and stitch again so the coverhem stitch is on both sides securing the seam and giving a professional finish.

      @@nellymok1339 any of our Janome sergers can do a flatlock and would be great to use for sportswear, etc. You can use the Model Comparison feature on the Janome.CA website and see all of our sergers under the Machine tab, sergers
