I'm contemplating getting this machine. You did a fantastic job explaining the workings of this machine and taking the fear out of operating a cover stitch machine! Thank you for sharing! 😊
Thanks so much for this video! The manual is very sketchy, and I bought my machine online so no one to ask how to use it. This was very very helpful, and I'm excited to hem all the things now.
What is the difference between using a cover stitch machine and using a double needle on a regular sewing machine? Thanks for this video! I would like to be able to hem t shirts.
I used to have so many issues when I pushed the looper thread into that springy guide. Then I saw a tutorial that said not to do that, just wedge it there and continue to the left and thread the rest. Happy sewing ever since. I'm confused why the opposing views, and the Manual doesn't say anything, just where the thread passes (not whether to force it in or not). Anyway, if you keep making these videos, it would be very useful to show why it sometimes unravels - correct way to start and stop and finish the threads off.
awesome just sorry its so hard to hear. wow i learnt so much just wish that manual would tell you how to us machines. This is my first cover stitch so am still learning great greata video
Thanks for making this video, but you forget to put your thread behind the little hook on the underside of the loper. maybe play a little with the tension of the thread en lower the deferential under 1 for less tunneling of the fabric.
Thank you for pointing that out. Yes I did forget to thread that guide and will revise and edit the video. Was a little nervous doing my first video.Hoping to get more videos up soon.
Yes you are right. The thread needs to go into the guide before pulling pulling knob to drop the looper. Trying to see how I can edit video to point that out. First video
@@theunknownsewer4340 Sorry, didn't realise it was your first, I was thinking of new CS owners who often miss that step then get frustrated with the machine, which in reality is a super-simple machine. That hemming guide is just great, mine stays on the machine 99% of the time. Couldn't live without my CoverPro!

Before pulling the knob to drop the looper, thread needs to click into the thread guide on the base of the looper.
