Hi Dr D! Its Rosa L, your old patient! Did a google search for Herx and was pleasantly surprised to find this video! It’s very well done! As always, you have a great way of explaining things. Take care!

My eating habits have been crap. With this Covid situation I decided to really start getting healthy (unvaxxed) 9 days ago I started with half veggie, half low sugar fruits, almond milk and organic green powder. Wow! People think I'm "sick" but they don't know it's simply a Herx response. I'm feeling better each and every day. Thank you for helping people understand what's happening 🤗

This video was very special to me. In addition to being a graduate student in Nutrition, I have also been changing my diet for several months and have been feeling the reactions of a fungal syndrome that is going on. You gave me a lot of clarification. Thanks.

Thank you Doc I am having the symptoms word for word just as you explained. What I did notice is as soon as I started the diet was the occurring headaches but as you predicted I feel ten times better then what I was feeling a few months ago.
    Thank you

Doctor have you ever heard of any muscle issues like spasms/twitching when killing the bad bacteria in the gut?

It could be the Herxheimer reaction or a reaction to one of the herbs in that cleanse.

If you gain weight from carbs, fluid retention in legs, lethargy, brain fog, fatigue...yes. Try eating under 20 grams per day of carbs for 14 days, you will be blown away at how much better you feel. I know....easier said than done, but it does work.

@@DrBryanDzvonickND this is my 5 th week. I've been taking a tablespoon of coconut oil everyday plus drinking peppermint tea. Both antifungal. I'm feeling better a little each day now.I think I needed to go slower on the antifungal. I've also been taking acidophilus 3 times per day. I'm definitely feeling better, it's just a slow process. Thank You for replying 🤗🤗🤗🤗

@@AA-hj8er candida overgrowth. It's better, but still not all the way gone. It takes months to get rid of it. It's basically a yeast overgrowth in your gut. It's when you have more bad bacteria in your gut than good. Too much sugary wine for me about a year ago.Coconut oil and garlic are the 2 top yeast fighters. That's what I've been doing along with cutting out sugar and starchy and dairy.
