I live in London and just to compare, the rent is very similar here… but the quality of the housing doesn’t match up to London and I would say Singapore flats are so much nicer than London. Public transport is soooo cheap in Singapore compared to London too! Not to mention eating out is so cheap if you go to hawker centres, and has a lot more variety and quality. In London everything is expensive and not the best quality so it’s no wonder we’re in a recession. The only thing I would say London beats out in Singapore in is groceries are fairly cheap here and the fruit and veg quality isn’t bad.

Any tips for foreigners on how to look for a job in SG or find a company with quota.
Just apply via LinkedIn or jobstreet and try your luck. Most of the companies don’t have quotas, so foreigners need to be lucky to get hired.
