Incredible, wasn't it? She is very humble and at the same time her poise and confidence are right there for us to see. What a remarkable human being and like you said, "This is just the beginning!" Well, she just turned 17 and she is still in the 'beginning mode' but, hold onto your hat. She will graduate from school this spring/summer and the feeling is that she will shift gears and begin to go full steam ahead with her career. And, it will not a gradual climb. She will 'explode' onto the scene and everyone on the planet soon enough will know who Angelina Jordan is.

I feel like you! I am also proud of Angelina and what she does. I do not know why. I just sit here and follow her career, year after year. Of course, I understand that my thoughts and what I think do not affect who she is! But after all these years, she is like a granddaughter to me. Omer is a very good friend (like an older brother) to Angelina to this day. As the protege of Michael Jackson, he introduced her to the Jacksons. It seems the Jacksons are fans of her now.

Great reaction. This, to me, was her first Masterpiece. Surreal and in some places down right ethereal. Other worldly. 👣
The most moving part for me with this performance was when she began the second verse. What she did with her voice and tone just through me back in time, to another age. She's simply priceless.
The video went on to the finals. Angelina was named as one of the 3 finalists. She received 46% of the votes. She won $80,000. When asked what she wanted to do with money, she said I want to use it to help children!
Great reaction, thank you. This was the first time I heard this little fairy sing, 9 years ago and I've been hooked ever since. In all these years I have listened to she thousands of times in hundreds of splendid interpretations and yet every time I see these first performances of hers at the age of 7/8, it makes me move again, like the first time, with that wonderful concentration of humility, simplicity, candor, sympathy and talent. 💛🧡❤
So jealous of the folks in the audience for this performance. Angelina showed such poise, confidence and control. Her old school vibrato, her sustained last notes, her upglide and head tilt on the repeat verse "your daddy's..." are all testaments to her exceptional talent. Very nice reaction! This performance is my number 2 favorite AJ performance of all. Looking forward to the next one.

The rest of this video showed the Angelina winning this competition at 8 years old, youngest winner in a competition like this I have read. Just know that she won nearly 50K (usd) here and promptly donated the majority of her winnings to children's charities....just who she is and still is.
