Sony has a soft spot in my heart, sony xperia ericson was the first time my father bought a touch screen mobile, i still remember it was nearly for 18k and that too in the year 2010 or 11i guess, man i loved that phone, it was so good and it's camera was just Marvelous at it's time, the only downgrade of that phone was it was nearly of 4.5 inch and had very poor battery, but except this things, that mobile was just mind blowing.

Sony is EXPENSIVE. I bought the 1 ii when it came out for $1600(1.3 Laks). The best iPhone at the time was $1100. Sony makes the best phones but they need to work on increasing market share and lowering the prices.

Take and bow, I respect Sony for retaining the legendary goodies 3.5 mm headphone jack and Sd card slot, even there is led notification also. While, samsung is removing one by one even from the "A" series itself. 3.5 audio jack gone this year. Next year, it will be the micro sd slot 🤦🏻♂️. No need to comment about the "S" series and pricing. Its all about business nw a days...

The one and only flagship phone to have 4k display, headphone jack(high quality) , tool free removable hybrid sim slot and actual zoom lens . But at price of 1800 dollars and heats a lot (more than any other phone). Sony need to improve price , thermals and marketing. If it would have happed it will be a great phone. Xperia z, zl, z1, z2, z3, z3+, z5, xz, xz1, xz3 and right now xperia 1 and ericsson ki series isme add nahi hai sare ke sare use Kiya hai other company ke bhi use Kiya hai lekin jo baat sony me hai o feel dusra brand nahi de saka aaj tak... Sony left Indian market because of Chinese market, and Sony couldn't keep with them as a competition because it's a Japanese brand and Japanese people follow a culture of not producing cheap quality products be it any product, like automobiles of Yahamah, Honda, etc. Etc.
But now Sony can make a come back since other chineese phone like oppo Vivo also started selling their product for higher price.
At 1.3 lakhs I doubt it's sale number might not go higher. This phone is not worth more than 60k . I will buy moto edge 30 and a DSLR in 1.3 lakhs

Sony xperia z2 was my first phone.Revolutionary it was it had a glass back ,waterproofing and dedicated cam button way before others introduced.Hope sony finds a foot again in india.

Z5 had also a improved audio quality (stereo output through external speaker) compared to Z3/Z2.
I loved how Sony used to put stereo speakers on Z series without caring the bazzel much 😀.
Quality/Stereo Audio output has been always important for me.
Sony specializes in audio so they know the importance of 3.5mm jack for better audio quality.
They hide so many Features...about display & AUDIO and Play with Charging mode...this is unique System no one brand have this technology..we can play Gamesa directly power from Charging unit .
Though Sony is not in the Indian market nowadays, but i love sony phones. My 1st phone was Sony Ericsson J300.
I really wish Sony launches some mid range experias in India in the future

My friend is having same device which he purchased from singapore. and the main issue in this phone is heating. if you are spending 5 digit amount on some phone and if you get this type of result then brand should definitely work on this.
This phone is for photographers.👍 From DSLR, market switched to mirorless camera and such phones can act as game changer. In future mobile camera may take over mirrorless camera market. You never know....

I had Sony Ericsson Walkman phone . Had an Amazing experience with that phone. Sadly they left Indian market.

*As expected from Sony, this is the real pro-camera feature phone as the LG (V-series) is dead now.* S22 ultra is simply fantastic and well rounded with its superb pro-mode and great auto-mode both.
Lastly, iPhones also take great photos in auto-mode *but they lack a proper pro/manual mode* and somehow it's still a pro-camera phone according to some UA-camrs, lol.

My first three smartphones were Xperia L, T2 Ultra Dual & XA1. Among these three, Xperia L & XA1 had the most software & hardware issues respectively.
First was sony ericsson k750i..then Xylo then M then then z3+ then Xa the x then Xz2 premium currently using 1 mark 3 fabulous fantastic and faadu phone better that others.....what a 4k screen

I have loved and owned Sony till Xperia X in the past... Wish they come back to India with Xperia. Vaio is there but Xperia is still out. Just a little better pricing and it should work.

Although it's of course a matter of personal opinion, taste and choice, I really cant understand how there are users who choose any other phone, including iPhone or Samsung, when there's the Sony Xperia available for the same price.

Same heating issues from the days of Sony Xperia Z3. It's a bit surprising that it's still not solved in Sony flagship phones even are so many years!!! Sony is clearly falling behind in the mobile phones segment.

Respected Sir. I have been a genuine sony buyer since my first phone. Bought C3 in 2015 and it still is a great phone. Got my Xz3 last year. But I am still willing to buy one from 1 or 5 series.
