Even though I had many issues with samsung with exynos heating, costly tempered glass that didn’t used to stay long, poor battery backup and charging port needed to be replaced twice in 3 years but, o man that screen has been the most gorgeous screen on any smartphone! Curved display is an experience in itself but flat displays are just practical!

I love curved displays, and I have been using them. However, the main problem lies in using a glass protector and UV glue. If you cannot properly apply the UV glass protector, it can potentially damage various components of your device, such as the speaker, receiver, and buttons. I experienced this issue with my S23 Ultra phone, and it was a nightmare.

I've been using the one plus 8 pro with a curved display for the past 3 years. Reality is there is no real life use of the curve. It may look a bit expensive but other than that there's no use. I faced so much problem while buying a screen protector. You don't find any good screen protector in the market. The ones that are there are either very costly or don't cover the entire screen. Even the costly ones are not that good. The break so easily. Sometimes content gets lost in curve. You also face some problem while working on the curves of the phone (photo , video editing) . I'll choose a flat screen anyday without a second thought.

I don't see any practical usage of curved displays, except for the looks. Just imagine you are watching a video with subtitles in a curved display (fullscreen), where will the subtitles be located? And not only that. There are many more issues too. For example you are reading something on the screen, you will have to tilt the screen to be able to reach the edges
I had an S6 edge which had the first dual sided curved glass. It was a pinnacle of beauty in 2015. Other phones at that time felt like dinosaurs from prehistoric period beside that phone. It felt so premium at that time. Felt premium to hold and the screen was so sharp it had a ppi of more than 400. I miss that phone now. Samsung doesn't make innovative phones now which is sad (except foldable phones which are available for more than 4 years in a row).
Hello sir, After seeing your video about the moto edge 40, I brought it instantly, It has been just 2 days after the purchase of the moto edge 40, I was on call and used the Speaker option, but after some time the speaker started to crack, and after that bottom speaker stopped working. Now only the top speaker is producing a sound that is not loud. I have done some research and found out that many people are facing the same type of issue. Sir, please make a video about it as the experience I am facing is very bad. Because I have raised my voice in different channels like twitter mail and calls nothing is working. If you see this comment please response I will share my contact so we can discuss it further. Really need the community help right now.
As a OnePlus 11 owner.. i simply love the screen... But not having a screen guard and feeling anxious everytime my phone falls is just too bad for the returns. Even a simple transparent screen protector chips from the side and makes my premium phone look like a cheap one so literally not using anything and just wishing bhagwan iski rakhsha krein scratches aur breaking dono se.
I've using.. OnePlus 8 for 3 years now.. and i dropped it several times but ..i loved it and it is working fine..not a single problem i faced till now..!
Curve dhik hai par kon jaaye store 50km Durr tempered glass lagwane aur flat wale par Flipkart se mangawao aur laga do simple ya Tak ki display new lagana bhi aashaan hai. Aur flat ke alag hi chochle hai. Mene apna experience bata dia ab tum bataao
Using curved display for over 2 years now but never faced any problem while gaming or watching vedios, also the screen has never gotten any damage as well As for myself I will definitely go for a curved display phone next time as well(opinion depends for user to user)
After using curved display for 4 months I have experienced that curved displays look beautiful, touch feels premium but at the same time I have faced issues with screen guard. The screen guard doesn't last longer as it is curved air gets inside through the curved edges. Better to to use it without screen guard.
All my previous androids were curved screen ones, and i can assure you it wont crack as easily as he said. I used samsung note 9 and oneplus 8, and trust me when i say this, i am a very clumsy when it comes to handling phone, technology has come a long way and gorillaglass 5 is enough to survive hip down impacts, sometimes i dropped from chest height yet no cracks. Maybe luck maybe the protection. So the chance that curved is delicate than flat is baseless. And my current phone ip13 is also as standard as them, dropped it so many times and its still scratchLess, so u decide what you want. One thing i disliked about curved screens is that sometimes on whatsapp the image is cropped at the edges. And if there is text at the edges, you may not be able to access it. 😅 that was my only con for curved screens
Tempered glass is a pain in the arse. Really. Its worst, which is why i used screen protector, not the cheap one but the 3 layers wala. Its as protective as tempered glass. And unlike tempered glass it wont break. But can protect your phone much better. I remembering once an angry kid threw watch on my phone, and it landed on my screen. Got so nervous and when peeled off, screen was spotless, protector got a deep scratch. 😊
Rakesh sir big fan of yours suppporting you since a very long the most genuine tech youtuber at current time Thank you for your honest videos and opinions🤝🏿🌈
I have been using Mate20 pro for about 4 n a half years now and the display is just gorgeous. I haven't applied a screen guard and apart from a few scratches the display is still good. A few downsides as mentioned by you, gaming experience, especially PUBG, the curve disturbs the view a bit and placement of icons on the edges ruins the experience. Replacing the screen will definitely be expensive and applying screen guard by own isn't viable option either. Anyway, I would still buy a curved display phone and I can't compromise on that. The new Honor 90 seems to be a solid phone, display and camera wise, but no OIS !!! I wish they release Vivo X90 Pro Plus in India 😢
All the points are very well covered by Rakesh bhai. In my personal opinion, curved displays gets u a lot of attention, like I still take off the case and look at how gorgeous the display feels. That's it, that is the only advantage you have on a curved display. But I like how people ogle at my phone 😂. So if u r someone who likes to have that feeling, go buy the best sleek curved display phone and show off.

Actually i will prefer company to use 2.5 D curve glass its more practical, reliable, long life .
Bro I think there is a WhatsApp service number for moto users to solve your problem
@@oneinall18 bro all those number are literally useless, they have pre commands which doesn't solve any of your problems b😓
Bhai jaise hi aapne kaha ki phone girega to mera phone neech gir gya 😂😂
As a OnePlus 11 owner.. i simply love the screen... But not having a screen guard and feeling anxious everytime my phone falls is just too bad for the returns. Even a simple transparent screen protector chips from the side and makes my premium phone look like a cheap one so literally not using anything and just wishing bhagwan iski rakhsha krein scratches aur breaking dono se.
Use membrane
I like boxy phones with flat edges. But also like curved display.
Thank you bro for your video. Now I am able to decide what to buy. Going for flat display.😊
I've using.. OnePlus 8 for 3 years now.. and i dropped it several times but ..i loved it and it is working fine..not a single problem i faced till now..!
Same mai bhi use kar rha hu

Curve dhik hai par kon jaaye store 50km Durr tempered glass lagwane aur flat wale par Flipkart se mangawao aur laga do simple ya Tak ki display new lagana bhi aashaan hai. Aur flat ke alag hi chochle hai.
Mene apna experience bata dia ab tum bataao
Flat display wale like karo
Using curved display for over 2 years now but never faced any problem while gaming or watching vedios, also the screen has never gotten any damage as well
As for myself I will definitely go for a curved display phone next time as well(opinion depends for user to user)
Very useful information provided. Great 👍

Bhai Samsung Curve Display S6 se dena start kia. Like S6 Edge and S7 Edge. But bezels zyada the innn dono me S8 me wo b bahot kmm kr dia tha🤞✌🤟🙏
Bhai samsung ke flagship ke curved display ❤❤❤❤
Is it good to buy curved display tell me because i am going to by a curved display phone

Real life me flat display aacha hai 😂😂
Sahi baat hai
Insane pricing on curved tempered glass. Quoted 1500rs for a curved tempered glass for mi 13 pro(Offline). Bought a UV tempered glass for 500rs online. Its very hard to apply for 1st time users.
Thank you Sir, I was totally confused about which phone to buy but after watching this I am fully convinced to buy a flat display phone, thanks a lot❤
5:59 mummy chilla raha hai ki e kya sound aa raha hai phone see 😂😂

👌😂😂
Actually i will prefer company to use 2.5 D curve glass its more practical, reliable, long life . I remember in 8th standard i was having lava Z90 phone it was having 2.5 d glass which used be so good and feel good and no worry for protection glass because it is available for it , even on i right now have samsung A51 with flat screen and im using 2.5 d glass as tempered glass ,its only rs 150 and is really good ; do feel like it has oliophobic coating 😅
I also have A51🥲🥲
@@ryugungamer9869 I think you don't have good memories with a51 but I do have 😁
Using Samsung S10+ since 5 years osm display osm performance no problem to using curve display ❤

Please anyone answer my question. The question is.. is it safe to apply UV tempered glass on our curve display smartphone? 🧐
no
So what's the protection
yes
@@poojith481 normal use Karo UV mat jao le rahe ho acchi quality ke lo
Woh saste yellow ring kuch nahi karta unla jala dega display
Yes but should not be of cheap quality
something 1.5k and above are great anything under you will have issues related to fingerprint touches or just the whole panel get damaged
I did just put the Film protector than those glass ones TBH
